Jerusalem – Egypt’s new capital.

Jerusalem to become Egypt’s capital under Mursi’s rule, says Muslim cleric

If Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohammed Mursi became president, Egypt’s new capital will no more be Cairo, but the new capital will be Jerusalem, a prominent Egyptian cleric said at a presidential campaign rally, which was aired by an Egyptian private TV channel.

“Our capital shall not be Cairo, Mecca or Medina. It shall be Jerusalem with God’s will. Our chants shall be: ‘millions of martyrs will march towards Jerusalem’,” prominent cleric Safwat Hagazy said, according to the video aired by Egypt’s religious Annas TV on Tuesday.

The video went viral after being posted on YouTube – accompanied by English subtitles by Memri TV –, with 61,691 views until Thursday night.

“The United States of the Arabs will be restored on the hands of that man [Mursi] and his supporters. The capital of the [Muslim] Caliphate will be Jerusalem with God’s will,” Hegazy said, as the crowds cheered, waving the Egyptian flags along with the flags of the Islamist Hamas group, which rules the Gaza Strip.

“Tomorrow Mursi will liberate Gaza,” the crowds chanted.

“Yes, we will either pray in Jerusalem or we will be martyred there,” Hegazy said.

Hegazy’s speech came during a presidential campaign rally at the Egyptian Delta city of Mahalla, where Mursi attended along with the Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohammed Badei and members of the group and its political wing the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP).

First of all, Mr Baldy, if you are reading this, please make contact with me as it looks like we do not have your correct email.

The Muslim Brotherhood are starting to show their true motives. They are not interested in peace. They are interested in the land of Israel. The video in the quoted article makes that extremely clear. Let me share John MacTernan’s thoughts about this video with you:

I watched the following video six times or more to let it sink it. Please take the time to watch it. I suggest that you pray first as it is demonic as can be. The demons are almost “visible” as it is so thick with them. This is real Islam rising for its final confrontation with the Holy God of Israel. The mentality you see manifested in Egypt will overcome the entire Arab world. It now appears that the caliphate is going to first form in Egypt and then spread throughout all Arab nations. Not only is the battle coming to Israel, but it is going to be brutal on all the believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. There are many martyrs coming for the Lord, many.

I fear he is right. Israel is surrounded by enemies. All the Muslim countries wants her destruction. All hell is gonna break loose any day, and Israel and Christians will be caught in the middle. If you are a Christian, you will not escape the persecution coming your way. Friends, the economy is gonna fail and peace is gonna fail. Pray to the Lord to keep you faithful unto death as you may face death soon.

I can not believe I am writing this. I hope I am wrong.

  1. that is prophecy being fulfilled.

yes, the arabs will march toward Jerusalem to overcome it at Armadeggon, and God will defeat them.

If the Arabs would read the Bible in stead of the Quran, it would save their lives and souls.

  2. Vic,
My first post ever on this site concerned the Mayan prophecy of the world as we know it may soon end on 12/21/12. I am well aware that the Mayans were Godless heathens who practiced human sacrifices among other unholy things, but they were also some of the earliest astronomers to ever try and uncover the sky. In my opinion, even as unpopular as it may seem, they may have seen something so long ago that made them think this way while studying the heavens. Whatever the near future has in store for us is going to be revealed very soon and all I can say is bring it on as our salvation may soon be at hand. The Good Lord gives and the Good Lord takes, blessed be the name of our savior the Lord Jesus Christ.

  3. Wow – this guy is at it again stumping for Mursi? What maniacs! It’s very sad that so much of the world has been blinded to these murderers plans (I include those that within Islam as well, since they likely do not appreciate what these men are capable of). I need to go back and study Egypt in prophecy again – since we know in some of the more frequently discussed passages (like Ezekiel 38-39) they are often not part of the group that comes against Israel.

  5. Hello, It’s also my first time leaving a reply here. I enjoy visiting this site.
For your info Justasheep7, Isaiah 19:23-24 tells about Egypt, so we don’t really have to worry too much about this guy, because Egypt, Assyria together with Israel will worship the lord in that day. I view all the violence and the prosecution happening in the world is a way God plans on Jews to go back to their land where it’s the safest place for them after all because God is watching Israel every single moment.

    Isaiah 19:23-24 (New International Version)
23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. 24 In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth.

I am aware of these verses, but I am under the impression that this will happen during the Millennium reign of Christ. It looks close to impossible for this to happen this side of Armageddon. If you read Isaiah 19 (The burden of Egypt) from verse one, the picture looks bleak for Egypt. The following sounds like something happening today:

Isa 19:1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
Isa 19:2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
Isa 19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
Isa 19:4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

  7. The temple as well was Jerualem will be given to the gentiles. The arabs are not gentiles they will not have control over Jerusalem. The verse below tells us who will run Jerusalem which will house the temple.

    Revelation 11
1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

According to Daniel the king of the south will be overcom by the AC, Egypt has to worry about its own land, even the oil rich lands.

    Daniel 11
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

    No Sir.
A gentile is the sons of Japheth
    lets read

    Genesis 10
1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

4 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

the Arabs are sons of Ishmael, who is a son of Abraham, who is a son of Shem.

The Gentiles are who we call the Europeans today.

this to is a mystery to the people of the earth who is who. if we all read what is written in God’s word it would not be a mystery.

    check this out sir

Paul is the apostle to the gentiles. Paul only went to the gentiles nations. The gentile nation
Paul went to are European countries.

    Romans 11:13
For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

the other 12 were told not to go to the gentiles this lets me know that only Paul went to the European nation and no other of the 12

    Matthew 10:5
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

    and they did not disobey.

  9. Sir, were is the United States of Gentiles? The word translated as gentile is the following:

    H1471
    גּי גּוי
    gôy gôy
    go’ee, go’-ee
Apparently from the same root as H1465 (in the sense of massing); a foreign nation; hence a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts: – Gentile, heathen, nation, people.

Any foreign nation other than Israel are gentiles. Any other nation other than God’s covenant nation born out of the seed of Abraham, Izaak and Jacob are gentiles. the word gentile is a foreign nation.

the gentiles are from the Japheth

we read who God says the gentiles are.

  12. The bible does not make a distinction between Gentiles and Goyim as Ozell has proposed. There is no evidence that the Apostle John was referring to only Europeans in Revelation 11:2 – the Greek word in the text is “ethnesin” which no one would assume was limited Japheth. I know many here have a great deal of respect for the King James Version – and I don’t mean to diminish that, but to draw detailed conclusions in difficult passages it is foolish and irresponsible not to consider the texts in their original languages.

    For reference: http://concordances.org/greek/1484.htm

I just showed you who the Lord said the gentiles are and yet you choose man opinion over His word.

what I do know is this no where in the bible do you read that gentiles is ANYONE other than Israel.

who ever these nation are today and they are here they will control Jerusalem.

  15. goyim means nation

gentile is a nation of people from the lineage of Japheth

in the english language the term for nation in the bible is heathen

so if goyim is yiddish for naton and yiddish is not a language from Abraham time

what is the hebew or egyptian language meaning of nations?

  16. also since you want to use Greek lets take the language farther back to Israel captivity and Abraham’s wandering,
this guy making all this foolish talk about Jerusalem is only speaking foolishly.

John and Daniel told us who will rule.

maybe you will consider what Jesus says

    Luke 21:
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

    25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

the Lord said Jerusalem shall be trodden down until the time of the gentiles be fulfilled.

Moses told us who the gentiles are and they are not Egyptian or sons of Ishmael!

the west which consist of these denominations will control Jerusalem as they do now. The Israeli’s could not control Jerusalem or any inch of Israel without the west.

the only way the Arabs would have a chance is if they had he medes(Russia) in the lead.

  20. ozell, (if i may add something here)…God singled out the jew from among alllll the nations for His special mission and calling. Jesus Himself refers to the either/or of jew or gentile in the gospel accounts and of course paul continues in the same vein. in the spiritual also is the “separation” (the either /or) between the world and the believer (in that sense picturing belief/unbelief). so by declaration of God’s Word and in examples from God’s Word in the natural and physical realm-a distinction is made and in the spiritual realm the distinction of either/or also. so if not a jew-then to carry out the Biblical pattern-anyone else falls under the category of gentile. this is not a hard thing why make it so? (your argument confuses the issue).

confusion is to think that the Arabs will control Jerusalem just because someone say so.
putting fear in the Christians and Israelis mind that they(Islam) will somehow come to posses it is foolish.

the Israelis won’t let it happen
the Vatican won’t let it happen
the christian world won’t let it happen
every nation has a place where God has set them on this earth.
every nation on earth came out of one of Noah sons

when stop with the milk and eat meat we will start to learn who is who on this earth all it takes is a little research and a lot of reading of God’s word.
before you get to the new testament and Paul writing the Bible has a beginning its called Genesis and the Lord let us know who is who among the families of the earth.
