The four horns?

Wickus here:

I have just read an interesting post by Brother Scott on Born to Watch. Could this be it? Brother, I hope you don’t mind me  copying it over here:

The Mideast Quartet – consisting of the United Nations, European Union, the United States and Russia – are set to meet next month in an urgent bid to renew peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, the German government announced on Friday.

Quartet members, including UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are to discuss the situation in the Middle East, at the Munich Security Conference on February 4-6.

Germany hopes the talks will provide an “urgently required impulse” for Middle East peace negotiations, said government spokesman Steffen Seibert.

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns.
And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. Zechariah 1:18-19 (KJV)

And the LORD shewed me four carpenters.
Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it. Zechariah 1:20-21 (KJV)

  1. Oh my. I never put that together before but that is chilling. That sure seems to fit perfectly. That seems to be exactly what is happening. I don’t know for sure but it is fascinating to see Prophecy unfold before our eyes. Thank you for posting that.

  2. Not so sure the four horns in Zechariah 1 are the Quartet on the Middle East, as Zechariah refers specifically to Judah only. I do suspect the QME does relate to Daniel 8:8-9 and Daniel 7:23-24. Daniel 8 emphasises that the vision is for the time of the end. The little horn here grows out of one of the four horns. In Daniel 7 the fourth kingdom devours the whole earth; ten horns arise from this kingdom; and then the little horn appears among ten horns, uprooting three. Are we there yet?
