You all know I’ve been watching the frequency of earthquakes the past several years. I was doing my regular checking of the earthquake browser and this past month we’ve had 20 earthquakes of magnitude 6 or greater. It may be nothing, just an anomalous month, but to put it in perspective – in 2011 which was the most active year for major earthquakes on record – we had 203 earthquakes all year. If this months trend were to continue – we’d see 2013 go far beyond that number. With all that we see going in the MIddle East with Syria and the upcoming pressure on Israel to force a division of the land I thought it was worth mentioning.

On the serious biblical matter of our walk,………and the straight n narrow path that takes us to the narrow gate which calls for repentance,… the difficult way proceeds……… lying beyond the gate,…the call to discipleship within the confines of the Kingdom of God. Perhaps its time to…………………………………………………………..further engage, picking up our crosses and moving forward ………………………….keeping the faith and the vision,…………………..for without the vision the people perish and without the faith we wither away. i sense that things are about to get tougher, heck, i guess we all sense that. I had to add a couple news stories that caught my eye this morning
1) 30 Million locusts in Egypt – the government there claims no problem, they are handling it. My response is Oh really – they are trying to prevent a coup and they have time to handle a very large swarm of locusts?

i think about the possibility of this whole thing being falsely orchestrated to discredit and confuse believers etc.,…….but as constance cumbey stated,their false presentation could wind up ignorantly fulfilling the biblical prophecies turning the joke back on them who were behind it!, where the phoney ac actually becomes possesed w the spirit of abadon from the bottobless pit and BECOMES THE ACTUAL AC! Woe to the inhabitants. in Gods eyes, mission accomplished and a catalyzed reaction takes place and Yahshua is on His way for the showdown. Heads we Win, tails they lose!

it will require real live discernment, and the HOLY Spirit will provide it and the elect will not be deceived, as i understand it. however,…w/out the Holy Spirit things could and no doubt will, appear very confusing! A few lines in the article stood out:

What the Bible already has said will happen, the papers are describing today!
I believe there WILL be some sort of peace agreement (because the Bible seems to indicate that). The question is only WHEN.

Well, there are so many possible end time scenarios, on ‘how’ and ‘when’ (on the timeline).
We do know a few things for sure.
Like, some of the different end time players.
The Medes, or Persians belong in the ‘Gog/Magog alliance’.
What we don’t know is the ‘when’.
We just need to keep an eye om the news.
As I understand it, ‘sudden destruction’ comes when they are saying ‘peace and safety’. In what form – time will tell. Many of the pieces of the puzzle are there. We just don’t know yet, where to fit them in.

Just reading through the book of Daniel again today. What amazing times we are living in to see fulfillment of prophecies.
As well as Psalms 46, what a wonderful promise and treasure for those of us who believe in Jesus Christ.
46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

Please do expound as I was thinking of Jer 51:11 ¶ Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device [is] against Babylon, to destroy it; because it [is] the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.
Also I was specifically thinking of Isaiah – Chapter 47 (for the nation that placed the yoke on His ancient people)
It is unclear from where this ” fiery judgment ” comes from , but it’s very clear that it is the Lord that meet’s with them (and that being ” not as a man” )
The warning was sent out, yet the arrogance and pride of the heart snubbed God and continued to hide behind the religious mask. It works…for now that is 😦
And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: [so] that thou didst not lay these [things] to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.
It’s like someone that is so grandiose in their minds that think they are above ” God”! I love how the Lord seems to laugh and His response.
Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet [thee as] a man.

By the ‘Gog/magog alliance’ (borrowed from Brother Brian) I was referring to the nations accounted for, when Gog moves out to ‘take a great spoil’. I find the texts diffuse as to when this will take place.
One thing is sure. Gog is arming his forces.

dear tony, our brother, Jesus loves you–He hears your broken heart and His Goodness toward you will continue the healing. i was just blessed incredibly by psalm 34 and you came to my mind. read it tony and let it wash over your heart to be blessed today–the Lord is near to them that are of a broken heart; and saves those of a contrite spirit. many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all. the whole psalm is about praising and fearing the Lord–how gentle He is and open to the cry that comes from the broken who are seeking His Face. God can do the impossible–i’m trusting Him for impossible things too…people i love that need to come to God-surrendered before the Cross of Jesus-to be forgiven-given a right heart and mind-in right relationship with God and man. how true–we only come our “senses”–in Christ. while you wait, may the Lord lead you to wholeness found only in the Power of His Holy Spirit.

*Rev 2:20 — Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

From what I gather you have been devastated by a someone you love very deeply. Please hear my heart ( I am not giving council but only share because I know your pain ) PLEASE don’t try to ” cover this pain up ” with looking to someone else, but RUN to Jesus. Run into His arms and hide there till HE ALONE can heal you and reassure your heart like none other can. Let Him show you your worth and HOW He sees you.( stop being the door mat ) Let Him wrap His arms around you as only a loving Father can. Let Him show you WHY you allowed your heart to be devastated. I was reminded of a promise the Lord has given me in the past little while and what He keeps on affirming. Please read the verses TILL verse 13 in a bible that has pages that turn..it makes a BIG difference 🙂
Isa 41:10 – 13 Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
