Folks, sorry for posting so many works of John Muncy, but I just have to share what I feel is talking to me.
(Written July 7, 2014) While most of us will sleep safely in our quiet neighborhoods tonight, Israel is busy in a battle for their very existence. Hamas out of Gaza is raining down an abundance of rockets on their land. Hit by100 rockets in 24 hours, Israel is being aggravated into a major Gaza offensive. The first Code Red alert in years has been issued and Israel has once again opened up their bomb shelters to protect their people. Netanyahu says ‘the gloves are off,’ Hamas will pay a heavy price; and the defense minister declares special security situation. IDF orders first wave of 15,000 reserves troops to free active duty battalions for the Gaza front.
IT’S GETTING VERY INTERESTING IN ISRAEL FOLKS!
After the 2005 “peace deal” of the Gaza Strip, under theBush administration, (one of the biggest mistake Bush made), Israel has been fired on by rockets from that region daily. Actually, Hamas started the veryday after the “land for peace” deal of 2005 was signed, and some 15,000 rockets have landed in southern Israel since. So much for a “peace deal” from terrorists– “Hamas”.
Israelis must defend themselves! This is not some game for the Jewish people; this is a serious struggle for their life as they are surrounded on every side by those who want to annihilate the Jews. As the Palestiniansput it, “we love death as much as Israel loves life”…to them, jihad is their ticket to paradise. How can anyone reason with these people? As Benjamin Netanyahu put it, “If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.”
Of all the anti-Israel Muslim terrorist organizations, Hamasis one of the most violent. What is interesting is the fact that the Hebrew word “hamas”, literaly means “violence”. Here is where it gets prophetic and Biblical…
The first mention of the word “hamas” is in Genesis 6:11,13: “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence [HAMAS]…And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence [HAMAS] through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
It’s very clear that the fate of those who practice violence (“hamas”) is not good. It was “hamas” that brought the judgment of the flood on this earth. Jesus warned us that the last days would be just like it was “in the days of Noah”. It is possible that the entire earth is about to enter another stage of “hamas” (violence) as we see a surge of violence making its way in our world through the terrorism of Hamas.
Another significant reference to “hamas” is found in regardsto the fall of Lucifer in Ezekiel 28. Verse 16 tells us that he was filled with violence [HAMAS] and sinned. It was at this point that God cast him out of heaven as being blasphemously wicked. How interesting that an organization so hell-bent on the destruction of Israel is named “Hamas” – a character first found in Satan!
It would be worth your time to look up the many times “hamas” is found in the O.T. and the prophetic applications you will see with them. Let me give you a couple examples and how they give grave warnings from God to the Hamas terrorists today…
In Obadiah 1:10 and Joel 3:19, we read of prophetic statements that deal specifically with the violence [HAMAS] carried out by Edom– another name for Esau, the ancestor of the Arabs – against Jacob and Judah, the ancestors of the Jewish people. According to Obadiah, the children of Edom, they shall be shamefully cut off forever because of their violence [HAMAS] against their brother Jacob [Israel].
Joel says that Edom shall be a “desolate wilderness”, for the violence [HAMAS] against the children of Judah, “because they have shed innocent blood in their land”. The death of these three Israeli teenager boys is sure to cause untold destruction on the Edomites. We may see some of thishappen in the days to come.
Thankfully, Israel’s prayers for deliverance from “Hamas”will be answered. Isaiah’s description of the Millennial Reign of Christ includes this promise:
“Violence [HAMAS] shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation and thy gates Praise.
May the Lord speedily deliver Israel from the “hamas” of Hamas. And may Jerusalem live up to its name (the city of peace) very soon! Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!
Please remember that peace is also prophetic, but we need to remember that the coming 7-year false peace treaty (Daniel 9:27) will be initiated by Antichrist, sometime in the future. Obviously, it will have to come in the midst of a time of intense battle. Who knows if this current battle will escalate to that point – but we know it will happen sometime – and will be the clear call that the end has just begun.
So, who knows if this current battle will help to build that evil plan of the antichrist? I’m thinking this situation now between Israel and Gaza [Hamas] only further proves why God told Israel to make no concessionswith them, nor to trade the land for peace. America needs to stop trying to strong-arm Israel to make “peace deals” with terrorists – Israel can handle her own.
The only lasting peace comes when Jesus Christ fulfills Zechariah 14:4, not because the Pope, John Kerry, Barack Obama, or George Bush gets it done!
Think about it! – John Muncy
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper thatlove thee.”
P.S. *JUST FOR CLARIFICATION* – Contrary to the majority of Jewish people, Muslims are persuaded that they must usher in the“end times” by war and bloodshed. They believe that their “man of peace” will come only as they slaughter the entire Jewish population. That was the dying request of Mohammad. The Mahdi, (the Muslim Messiah), is said to come during a time of “great upheaval”. On the other hand, the majority of Jews, especially those living in Israel, are not “practicing” their religion; a large number of them are agnostics. On the other hand, as Bible believers, we are observing this from the side lines; the very things that both Old and New Testament prophecies unfold before our eyes. The Mahdi, as many of you already know, matches many of the prophetic descriptions of antichrist – this offers a very interesting twist to all this. An unseen force seems to be pushing all this to the final conclusion. All we can do is “watch and pray”. It is not God’s will that any should perish, (Jew or Gentile) but that all should come to repentance and the knowledge of God’s love and forgiveness in Christ Jesus. Contrasted to Mohammad’s dying request, one of the last words of the Lord Jesus was, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do…” That should be the attitude of all believers! Let’s pray for Hamas.
