20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Gaza City (CNN) — A day after Israeli security forces killed at least two protesters amid a frenzied eruption of anger over the fatal shelling of a United Nations school, Palestinian leaders called for a “day of rage” Friday in the West Bank.

The call for a massive follow-up to what were already some of the largest West Bank protests in years comes as diplomats scrambled to find cease-fire proposal that would satisfy mortal enemies Israel and Hamas and end more than two weeks of violence that has claimed more than 800 lives, most of them civilians.

Friends, this can get very ugly. I can not say for sure that this is the fulfillment of Luke 21, but this is surely building up to it. The whole world is protesting against Israel.

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of tremblingunto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

  2. The day of rage was called out from the Wesbank were Jerusalem and Judea is.

    6 And the sea coast shall be dwellings and cottages for shepherds, and folds for flocks.
    7 And the coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed thereupon: in the houses of Ashkelon shall they lie down in the evening: for the Lord their God shall visit them, and turn away their captivity.

  8. well one day we will meet tony 🙂 one day we will all be gathered before the King of Kings and that welcome and relief is not too far off now! perhaps right around the corner that is coming up? because israel the super-sign is pointing to the soon return our our Wonderful Lord-yes i think those armies surrounding jerusalem will make their appearance before too long and though i have not been on here much lately i am still checking in the see what folks are saying so still watching with you all. God will make sure that we know what we need to know as we need to know it and the guesswork will be gone. so we’ll just stay in God’s Word to love and obey Him–sharing Christ with those whom the Lord brings across our path-and praying without ceasing because the Lord is near. we say it a lot here….what a time to be alive!
