The EU’s Horizon 2020 (which is a arm of the ENP 2014-2020 agreement) agreement is a trade agreement with Israel, but one of its conditions is that Israeli companies or organizations that do business in the territories and want loans from the EU would have to set up a system to ensure that any money it gets from the EU would be invested solely within the Green Line ( ie no money goes to Israel companies or organizations operating within the future Palestinian state).

    The European Commission’s guidelines regarding EU funding of entities in the West Bank settlements prohibit funds and agencies from giving grants, scholarships or prizes to Israeli entities in the settlements or to activities in the settlements. In some cases, the guidelines forbid giving loans to Israeli entities that operate directly or indirectly beyond the 1967 lines.

    So as you can see the EU is Israel’s friend as long as they agree or move on their own towards a two state solution, which is why they agree with the US and UN on all major events that push Israel towards giving the Palestinians a state of their own. The current Palestinian Unity government is a farce, designed to put more pressure on Israel to vacate those areas behind the so called “green line”, better know to us prophecy students as Judea, Samaria and the Temple Mount.

    My guess and it has been for some time, is that Israel will not willingly give up these areas and the world will unite to force Israel to do so, resulting in the prophecies of old to be fulfilled.

  16. Dear Fellow Believers,

    Often times when I see Christian articles on Israel, I question whether or not those who write such articles are informed on what is truly written in Scripture. What I mean is, there has been so much sensationalism involving the Nation of Israel as it relates to End Time Prophecy – that frankly it makes my stomach turn.

    I have seen believers in Christ literally worship the ground that those who are either from Israel, or are Jewish by birth, walk on, and I think that it’s pathetic. Paul clearly teaches in Scripture that those who are of Israel are NOT all Israel – nor are they all children because they are Abrahams descendants. Meaning that it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the Promise. (Romans 9)

    We must remember that a Jew is not a Jew because he or she is one outwardly. A Jew is a Jew who is one inwardly and circumcision is not an outward circumcision. A true circumcision which is unto Christ, and is a circumcision of the Heart – given by the Holy Spirit. This means ALL who belong to HIM are Jews. (Romans 2:28-29)

    I have a very dear friend who literally worships the whole idea of being in connection of what is Israel, or being Jewish – even though he is not. He loves to carry a flag of Israel – both posted on his truck, and on a key chain. He doesn’t understand that just because someone is Jewish by birth – that this alone doesn’t give them a passage into Heaven. My friend is so busy worshiping the Nation of Israel, and bending over backwards (treating them in high regards) to those who are Jewish that he has missed the whole point of what Paul was trying to convey. Folks, there are going to be those who are Jewish by birth that will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

    God is absolutely NO Respecter of Persons. When John gives us a glimpse of what he saw before the Throne of God – there was a “Multitude that no Man could number – of All Races, Tribes, Peoples and Tongues” ; All standing before the Throne and before the Lamb. Believe it or not, these are ALL those whom He Foreknew.(Romans 8:29) – so I ask, why should one put themselves after someone just because they are from Israel or born of Jewish descent? Why should the Nation of Israel be put on a platform that God Himself has not placed them on? Our focus should ALWAYS be on Christ – and Him alone!

    Well…….let me finish with this by stating that God has not abandoned the Nation of Israel by any means – (Romans 11) but this is where I believe that “some” members of the Body of Christ misunderstand – to include my very dear friend. I don’t want to offend anyone, but the term: “Replacement Theology” is a lie straight from the pits of Hell. Most Pastors, Teachers, and Preachers have coined this phrase to fit a particular theology – and mostly as it relates to End Time Eschatology. We need to rid ourselves of the term “Replacement Theology”.

    It is not “Replacement Theology” (again, a very bad term) to believe that we as Christians have every right to claim to be the seed of Abraham – and we as the Body of Christ are Israel. Scripture is quite clear about this. God will Sovereignly deal with Israel as a Nation – but in the meantime, we must truly know that not every Jew will make it into the Kingdom of Heaven just because they are Jewish by birth, or that just because one is Jewish they have special rights and/or privileges.

    So inclosing, yes we should look at the Nation of Israel to key us in on events that will transpire as it relates to End Time Prophecy – however, we should not be looking to her as the main focal point as it relates to our Relationship with Christ – thus placing us in a Spiritual Segregation status. Israel is not Christ – therefore we should not worship her as Christ placing her on a platform of worship that was never intended.

    We as the Body of Christ are the Elect…each and every one of us.

  30. thanks for the video you posted hisown. i concur. abomination that is heading in the direction (very publically and unashamedly) of the abomination of desolation (the seeds planted for false peace and ‘all that is false’ to take it’s (his) stand for temple mount). this is more proof of how these hate the Very Word of God and His Plan for jerusalem. more of the puzzle pieces fitting in to place and it seems like the wheels are ready to come totally off of the u.s. economy (as engineered) and bring on the right crisis for some big moves that the eu (and also russia) is waiting for like a big buzzard slowly circling over the dying. this whole thing is getting massive in what will-in the not too distant future-produce the event called the great tribulation in my mind.

When remnant from among the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is fully restored to the family of God – rejoice, do not doubt it will happen. God always keeps his promises, and he most assuredly made this promise many times to the Patriarchs. It seems the bones that Ezekiel saw have come together – and it is just a matter of time before they return to life.

    It’s hard to know for sure if the EU Horizon 2020 is prophetically significant or not. It is part of the current ENP, so it has that tie, but right now it appears to simply be another piece to the prophetic puzzle. However, It is putting more pressure on those area’s outside of the “1967 green line”, which the Bible clearly talks about as being areas of huge significance during the Great Tribulation.

    I am going to keep watching it.

Vic, i just, finally, watched the youtube video you linked for us of Jim Baker speaking on Dave Wilkersons vision,….wow! i am not surprised by Wilkersons connection w/ the spirit of truth but i always thought of jim baker and all those he seems to be affiliated with, to be misleading-false prophets! humm, …is rick joyner in that same crowd and are these the people that call themselves the NAR? i need to go back and check for my own curiosity,…..aren’t these the one’s who make up the ‘Elijah list’? /// and on that note, i went to a church on sunday that a friend of mine invited me to…the music Praise n Worship at the start was incredible…such peace and joy overwhelmed me as we sang about freedom in Christ,…then the sermon by a wonderful lady preacher about faith…and about our words. it began to hit me; this Harvest Christian Ministries church seemed to be a word of faith movement type,….the preacher made mention of Kenneth Haggin ! woe, i said to myself,…but the sermon was wonderful and in my spirit i understood that the main theme was simply this: Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. i felt fine with it all. Hours later it hit me that they never made mention of pentecost whatsoever, on this day of Pentecost. if anyone wishes to shed any light to help me “test the spirit”, why then please feel free to share what you know. They are affiliated w/ [Independent Assembly of God International]. i will now go back and look into kenneth haggin and refresh myself with his ministry and reputation. i wonder if i’m mixing him up with some other guy, kenneth hogin and the benny hinn crowd. Its this , what appears to be, over exaggerated pentecostalism deceptive spirit that i don’t want to be involved with, like what showed up in the video that colleen posted. My friend Tom said, well sometimes they do get slain in the spirit and laugh as though intoxicated – he was referring to the 2 lady preachers. Oh boy…..

    Jim Bakker in the ’80s was involved in an adulterous affair with a woman and tried to cover it up, he was also caught in instances of financial fraud for which he eventually received jail time. I would not ever count him among the short list of reliable bible teachers.

    Another thing I would encourage you to do, Tony, is search the scriptures diligently to see if the things that they are teaching you are in line with the scriptures. All it takes is a little leaven to leaven the whole lump. If there is any man-made non-biblical teaching in there, even a little you should reject that person as a false teacher who is not properly handling the word of God. You also said it was a lady preacher in the church, I would suggest you examine the scriptures for the qualifications of an elder/pastor/shepherd, 1 Timothy 3:1-16 and Titus 1:6-9 are a great place to start. Let God’s work clearly speak you through the ministry of the Holy Spirit – and trust him at what he says. Guard yourself from the teachings of men, and from inclinations of your (and my) own sinful heart.

    Too many churches are more about getting people whipped up into a frenzy of feeling and emotion – a place where the heart, that we know is untrustworthy, takes over. We should be looking for those places that are reverent and deeply committed to every word that comes from the mouth of God – it is the only medicine for our terminal condition and the only food that can feed our eternal soul.

I am becoming convinced that recognition and following by many people via radio, podcasts and other broadcasts- or being the “pastor” of a very large church are crushing burdens of temptation toward pride and other sins for any man. Even men who have started out firmly grounded in preaching the Gospel I have seen destroy their families, churches and other ministry by the temptations and unrepentant sin they have allowed to dominate their lives.

    I am so thankful for my little church and the humble shepherd who has been called to lead us. I urge each of you to pray for your pastor, only in God’s power can these men hope to withstand the snares they enemy will surely lay for them. Pray that he will remain faithful, pure and humble – he will not be lured by the church growth movement, fame, money or other affronts to God. Too much in our culture – not just the US, but around the world we as Christians have become consumers in the church. We need to realize that we are members of the body and our prayers for the church, and our service to the body is very bit as important as our Pastor’s teaching on Sunday. If the church is weak and failing – it is not just false teachers to blame, but it is us who follow them and devour their false teaching that tickles our ears. I urge you brothers and sisters – find a body of believers if you aren’t already in one and even though there will be problems as it is a church full of sinners, serve as you are gifted by God and pour into the body as you can, the church cannot function if it is all eyes and no feet or all fingers and no hand.

    I also forgot mention – that as Iraq disintegrates, and Syria, well Syria continues to be a basket case – it encourages the Kurdish minority in both to push to grab their own territory? Why is this important? Turkey also is home to a sizeable Kurdish minority, a minority that would be all to eager to join a free Kurdistan. My guess is that the Kurds will have some success in carving out some territory in the northernmost parts or Iraq and Syria while ISIS gobbles up the larger chunk to the south. Once this happens the Kurds in Turkey will cause bigger problems than they ever had – in the hope of joining Kurdistan. Turkey will plead for help from it’s NATO allies – who will say, “ummmm thanks but we’d prefer to not help you slaughter an ethnic minority in your country” – this will push them into even closer ties with the next big power in that region who I’m sure would be more than happy to help them out for some strategic or otherwise concession – Mr. Putin’s Russia. At the end of the day we end up with a resurgent Caliphate to Israel’s West (and right on Iran’s border – not making them very happy) and a strengthening Russian/Turkish/Iranian coalition. Ezekiel 38 anyone?

    YOU REALLY NEED TO BE FOLLOWING THIS FOLKS! This is a major thing! It has Biblical significance written all over it! The reigning areas of the antichrist and end time events are focused right in this very region!!! This is a crucial development! And the speed at which this is happening only supports how quickly things can change in the light of Bible Prophecy!

    According to Scripture, Babylon was and will be a focal point. The antichrist will actually use Iraq (Babylon) as one of his major headquarters.   78. Asking for Prayer again..
    I recently had a wake up call, or you might actually call it a broken hip.
    We had a storm with three to four inch’s of hail, on June 4th, I decided to get a picture of it for my dad so I grabbed my camera and with no shoes went outside, I’ve had problems with my hip same one I broke for several years, anyway I stepped onto a piece of rubber mat (mining belt) my foot slipped towards my other foot and I felt the most sickening pop and knew immediately it was broken.
    I have never felt such pain, it was horrible.
    The ambulance workers was wonderful but the pain meds didn’t touch the pain, it was awful when they had to move me onto the cot but they tried really hard not to hurt me worse.
    Once at the hospital things changed drastically, I knew they would have to move me to another bed and dreaded it so much I begged for them to just leave me along.
    When moving me over three on each side using the sheets, and me screaming at the top of my lungs from the pain and one of the nurses pushing my broken hip instead of using the sheet like she was supposed to it was horrible then afterwards the nurses laughing at me because I screamed and then they just stood and looked at me while I begged for them to put something under my knee to help ease the pain just a little. Finally one stepped into the room and carefully placed a pillow under my knee. Thank God for that Angel..
    Three more times they moved me and each time there was someone pushing on my hip right where it was broken and me having to beg for them to put another pillow under my knee with them just standing there laughing at me..
    One even said I needed to be in a horror movie and the one who took xrays acted like he was furious because I screamed in pain each time I was moved..
    I have always been able to take pain, and have had several broken bones the worst my shoulder which broke the ball in half and pushed it out the back with a broken collar bone , it was left dislocated for 9 days before surgery to take care of it..
    Anyway I’ve never felt pain until this day, and to have the nurses make lite of it, makes me furious..
    Had surgery the next morning, dr put a pin in from the top of my hip to within an inch of my knee with two pins across I guess to hold it in place and another from outside my hip to inside the hip socket holding that part in place.
    First night the nurses were pretty good came in like they should to check on me and give me meds, next night different nurse barely seen her pushed the buzzer and 45 minutes later still no one had came, third night they moved another lady in and they were pretty good again, next day I kept telling the nurse every time they put the medicine in the iv it was running down my arm, she laughed and said I was getting some of the meds and walked out, that day I was so sick the medicine to keep me from being sick at my stomach was running down my arm each time she gave it and the same with the pain medicine,I had the most horrible sick headache anyone could have, the other iv in the other hand was twisted off, didn’t get hardly any of the fluids I was supposed to get told the male nurse and he said oh yea I see and proceeded to retape it, I looked after he got done it was still twisted off even worse.
    Finally the one little nurse who took care of me the one night came in and I told her I wasn’t getting any meds because the iv was laying out between my hand and the tape , she brought me a pain pill to take by mouth, they used that iv until the next day even though I kept telling them it was all running down my arm, I went home with no pain medicine in me at all, my husband finally got my pain under control after I got home, thank God for him..
    Please stay with your family member if they are kept in the hospital, most are there for the paycheck only, yes there are some good nurses but there are just as many bad ones… I’m now terrified just thinking of a hospital stay…
    Sorry about writing a book, I know its been a while since I’ve been on here..

    The Lord promised to send me to a strange land in 1996 and arrived here in Canada July of 1998. Horrified by the idolatry, paganism and pride in those that named Christ ” Lord” I was wide eyed and bushy tailed in trying to express this concern but was harshly rebuked and silenced for daring to ” judge” our American brother’s and sisters. 9:11 was a shocking reality check for those that mocked the concerns and the verses the Lord confirmed.

    There’s a call to ” repentance ” ringing out in the land but for now I will refrain from sharing my concern for this as it would incite some pretty serious contentious debates that quite frankly I have no desire to be partaker of.

    I humbly believe the intentions of the heart have now been judged by the Lord and there is a clear separation going on.My concern is that this judgement will be the very thing that the enemy will use to his advantage to usher in the false signs and miracles and this ” 3rd” awaking that the New Apostolic Reformation – KINGDOM NOW guys are pushing for. I pray that those that are KNOWN by Christ will see right through the counterfeit and the diabolical deception.

    Another fascinating observation is the fact that this is the first year I’ve not seen one ” HAPPY JULY 4th patriotic { idolatry } chant” on the boards I frequent. Fascinating.

  102. Hisown, I can’t imagine being 93 I believe you said ? and trying to get healed up from a broken hip, God Bless you and your client. I’m having enough trouble trying to get healed and I’m 50 can’t even imagine being in my 90’s and trying to heal..
    I’m doing quiet a lot better, the pain is slowly subsiding and I’m getting around better, getting in some study time, an anything broken, sure slows you down. Having some problems with a couple of the surgery sites on my hip but they are finally starting to look better, I’m allergic to some of the glue on tapes so when they took out the staples and put on the glue and cloth strips it gave me some problems, but I think mostly because of the location.
    Hope your friend is doing better.
    Thank you all for the Prayers, I am doing better after the chemical poisoning of our water, so far the only remaining after affects of that is I’m still having problems with my gallbladder we still don’t know what the long term effects will be, I don’t think they will really let us know anything in our lifetimes if ever..
    Maybe Christ will return and I’ll never have to worry about it..
