Matt 24:32-35

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Let’s have an open discussion. Consider the following:

If the fig tree is started to bud in 1948 with the declaration of the state of Israel, we are nearing the end of the last generation at an alarming rate. We are already 66 years into this last generation. If we are not in the final 7 years yet, we can add it to the 66 years. That means this generation is at least 73 years old.

We don’t have much time left…

If the EU is the revived Roman Empire they will have to rise to superpower status in a record time. They will need to get an army that can wage war and conquer very fast.

Rev 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

They will also have to take control of the financial systems of the world.

Reality says that Europe has tried for over 60 years to achieve that and failed.

For the same reasons I cannot see an Islamic beast/antichrist in the near future.

And for the same time (66 years) the world had one country that fit the above description. Nobody can make war with him and win and he is controlling the world economy and trade.

Are we missing something?

    Even though it’s debatable to the ” timing” of the FINAL casting out of Lucifer, I humbly believe it will catapult us into the 42 month trib. That has not yet happened and believe we should keep a eye on the Jews being ” removed ” out of Judea and Samaria as noted in the link provided. Whoso readeth, let him understand.

    Revelation 12:9, “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

    Firstly let’s consider what the Word says about the time we’re in.

    1} Take heed that no man deceive you {with vain words and binding heavy burdens grievous to be borne, laying them on men’s shoulders }

    2} These days are filled with chaos, confusion , distractions and a huge diabolical diversion.

    3} Lucifer rules the beast from the sea { RCC ? } and gives the beast from the earth { USA?} the POWER to ENFORCE the mark of the beast { with it’s technology} onto the whole world? Who is able to stand ?

    4} False signs and wonder’s that even if possible the very elect will be deceived.{ South Africa-born revivalist Rodney Howard-Browne is planning a counterfeit ” Third Great Awakening” for the first week in July } GOD HELP US ALL!

    5} It’s been a slow process of ” sifting, purifying and separating ” but the end will come like a flood.

    Just a few rumblings before running out . Sorry for the all over the place thoughts. Just had a few min 🙂

  2. the Berlin plus agreement gave full power to the E.U. to make use of the usa’s military machine when needed if i remember correctly Rich Peterson reported on this during the bush administration and i remember even on the tv news that man, Morris -dick morris -from fox news also making a hugh fuss over this…….. so, it appears as tho they Do Have an ARMY that can WAGE WAR and CONQUER FAST!

  3. Yes, I think we’re missing something, and that is because we are reading the Bible from a Western perspective when it was written from a Middle Eastern point of view.

    Regarding the revived Roman empire, I believe this is an erroneous teaching, and I will quote Joel Richardson in explaining why:

    Revelation 17:9-11: This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for a little while. The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction.

    Now the seven heads are called seven mountains. The Bible often uses mountains as a symbol representing a kingdom or an empire. But most importantly this passage gives us insight into the fact that, before Jesus returns, there will actually have been a total of eight “beast” empires. The eighth empire will be ruled by the Antichrist. How can this passage help us gain insight into the identification of the final empire of the Antichrist? First, we see that at the time that John wrote this passage, five of the empires had already fallen. This is seen in the phrase “five have been.” These empires are generally accepted by Bible teachers as the following:

    1. The Egyptian Empire
    2. The Assyrian Empire
    3. The Babylonian Empire
    4. The Persian Empire
    5. The Greek Empire

    After these five, the angel tells John that one empire “is.” At the time that John wrote the book of Revelation, Rome “was.” It ruled the Middle East, Northern Africa, and much of Europe. Thus the sixth empire was the Roman Empire. The next empire, of course, is the seventh, and then the eighth will be the empire of the Antichrist. So the seventh empire is the empire that we need to identify, because according to the verse, the eighth empire will be a resurrected or a revived version of the seventh empire: “The beast who once was, and is not, is an eighth king.” Let me just paraphrase this portion for clarity: “The seventh beast [empire] that existed, but then did not exist, will come back as an eighth empire.”

    Joel goes on to explain that the Antichrist empire cannot be a revived Roman empire because it was the sixth empire, not the seventh.

    He then explains that the seventh empire is the Turk/Ottoman empire, which came after the Roman empire and ruled over the entire Middle East until 1923, when the Turkish Islamic caliphate was officially abolished. Today the Islamic world awaits the restoration of that caliphate.

    Meanwhile, the Antichrist cannot literally rule the WHOLE world, because the Bible says he will make war against the strongest nations. If he is literally ruling the WHOLE world, then who is he fighting at Armageddon? He will have enemies at the very last battle, which by definition means he is not literally the supreme ruler of the whole earth. If we look at the original Greek and Hebrew, we see that these “WHOLE world” word constructs are actually a sort of hyperbole that does not mean literally the entire earth, but a very large part of it.

    I would challenge you to read Joel Richardon’s “The Islamic Antichrist.” It was incredibly interesting. I think you would find it interesting.

  15. I can not but believe we are on track, on time,…and imminently facing the arrival of the antichrist. When you survey the end time blog sites,…I see really none that suggest a time line farther than 2040 (Koenig is adamant that Babylon will be rebuilt in all its grandeur before the end). I will be astonished if it takes that long.

    Today on Pakalert I see it says Americans spending on gas has dropped by 75%. That says something major is happening with our economy now, but also do the statistics on unemployment, moral decay. All the technology is clearly available and probably already being mass produced for identifying us and moving us to a cashless society. When America goes it will take the whole world’s economy with it. Therefore it would only take one major false flag, EMP, or major executive order by our president entailing Marshall law and we are set for the one world economy.

    Europe is primed and ready for a new innovative and powerful leader. It must happen if they are to hang together. Candidates are there. Only God knows. Because of Obama’s unknown history, while unlikely, I don’t even exclude him from the list of contenders. Interesting if he turned out to be European. However at this point he looks like a “prophet” candidate. Only God knows. Solana is hidden…but alive and well. One world government would take little more than the need for a one world economy to necessitate it’s inauguration.

    One world religion needs only the charisma of an awesome, miracle working leader, conversant in the new age knowledge of evolving to godhood, support from miracle working light workers (fallen angels), and the infilling of Satan. The new age structure is wide spread, well established, and eager to be there and support this new christ.

    The world has shelved the antiquated ideas of Scripture, even it’s God. He is passe, and without power. (Somebody is in for a BIG surprise on that front). The Ezekiel war and the Damascus annihilation could begin tomorrow. The tabernacle could be built at Shiloh within the coming month. The church has become grossly polluted and gutted of its Holy fire. What ever sanctification it had is mostly lost. The shekinah glory is not seen often these days. I think in some instances it does almost more harm than good.

    The earth things are ready. The angels in formation. It just depends on when the Glorious King wishes to put on his armor, mount his steed and take back his own. Even so, “Lord Jesus come”.

    Let’s go back to the drawing board and the countless scriptures the Lord confirmed many moons ago and maybe try and revisit these with a clean slate. Let’s start with the”destroying wind” verses , first then work our way from there.

    Let’s start with the very first scripture that the Lord led us to in 2006 and maybe open up a further discussion and a greater awareness of the hour we’re in.I believe it’s the enemies purpose to DISTRACT and DIVERT us away from what’s going on behind the scenes to cause dispondency and despair that seems to fester weariness.I’m well aware of his tactic’s and am NOT ignorant of his devices! It’s good to KNOW your enemy guys! Be sober, be vigilant ….. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

    ONLY the WORD of God is able to help us STAND in the dark days ahead 🙂

    All around me { Christians? } seem to be under some diabolical slumber { or has the Lord given them over to the strong delusion ? } and they love to have it so! Not only do they love it, but they gather unto themselves teachers to tickle their fancy idolatrous ways as they pat them on the back with a reassuring unity. God help us in the days ahead as we heed the warnings of ” let no man deceive thee ” by any means!

    The Lord has been leading me to some pretty serious warnings in His word on the danger’s of CONCEALING, PROTECTING and EXCUSING the one’s we love that promote/worship/believe in “other gods. The Lord is sounding the warnings . Are we obeying ?

  36. just a couple of thoughts to add to diane’s comments: within this revival of the ottoman empire [a beast = kingdom] we have islam enemies surrounding Israel ps 83 / this beast is beheading the martyrs and others in Africa, asia, middle east exponentially / the links to the number 666 and this beast and qaran are well documented / islam is exactly anti anointing [anti Christ] its opposite in so many ways, denying the son, the cross, the blood, love etc/ this beast has a false prophet, Mohammed / the abomination is already standing on the temple mount that produces desolation / islam produces this where ever it goes.

    Islam is not the only anti- christ, there are many that deny the Deity of Christ, His blood atonement for the remission of sin’s , His bodily resurrection and a work’s salvation .There are many! Both Vic and I were saved from such a anti -christ religion.

    Do your own research on the Seven Laws of Noah that the Talmud requires that a NON Jewish person keep as an assurance of a place in the world to come. Is that not against Christ?

    What is the penalty of one that is guilty of Idolatry would you say ? { According to the Talumd?}

    However, there will be one man who will be the ultimate and final antichrist: 2 Thessalonians 3: Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and who exalts himself over every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits down in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God.

    Here’s what I’ve learned about Islamic eschatology. Islam believes that in the last days, a world leader called the “Mahdi” will arise and champion the cause of Islam. Muslims believe the Mahdi will be accompanied by Jesus (known as “Isa” in the Koran). They believe Isa will set all the Christians straight and will either convert them to Islam or cut off their heads. After this, the Muslims believe a figure called the Dajaal will arise, and Mahdi, Isa, and all Muslims will fight against the Dajaal and be victorious, thus ushering in a world that is united under an Islamic Caliphate where everyone will live in peace.

    Now, since I believe satan knows God’s plan, I believe he has created Islam for the very purpose of raising up an army to fight against Christ at his second return. If this is the case, from the Christian perspective, the Mahdi would be the antichrist, and Isa will be the false prophet. (And many will be deceived into thinking he is actually Jesus, since the Bible says he will have the power to perform signs and miracles! I believe this to be the coming great deception.)

    That leaves the Dajaal. Who is the Dajaal they will all be trying to kill? None other than Christ himself, at the battle of Armageddon… which they will lose.

  41. no doubt there will be / are many anti christs, and groups of these; my point wasn’t to single out islam in that sense, but rather in response to vics open ended question….that the time indeed feels very short, and do we have an objective focus regarding from which quarter, many of the end time prophecies regarding the aod, ac, desolation, Israel’s being surrounded etc may find their fulfilment. and it appears to me as time goes by, that a revived ottoman empire fits the criteria better than a revived roman empire. having said that however, I do realise there have been many strange historical connections between islam and Europe, and time will tell. and, as an aside, i wanted to say as I work among muslims, I am committed to loving them, and seeing that they are worth the blood of the lamb. thanks all for feedback and discussion. c

    I agree 100% that there will be a MAN of sin . I’ve shared in previous discussions how this ” Mahdi” LOOKS { in depictions } the same as all the false RCC “Jesus ” paintings out there and am deeply concerned for those that think they’re hearing ” Jesus call “. This Mahdi will come with this false impostor that most Christians think is Jesus.

  43. when i see the 7 noahide laws it makes me think of the little horn anti-christ plucking out the 3 and taking over….. / no longer 10 commandments, times and laws have changed and only 7 laws exist in this ‘new order’ of the times./// i know that in the prophecy 10 kings are reduced by 3 of course, but i see a pattern,…….?,…probably just coincidental, or perhaps a satanic fingerprint or signature OR, maybe i’m partly autistic and i see patterns everywhere i look and begin to imagine things significant??? knowing me, thats most likely the case. be careful about agreeing with my insights kids!   49. Sure, if you believe the koran’s account of what he will look like (and the Koran contradicts itself even on this point). The main point about the Dajaal prophecies is that he will appear to fight against the work of Mahdi and Isa, and that the battle against him will be the last one of all time. We know from the book that tells the whole truth that the figure who appears to fight in the last battle is actually Christ himself, and that he will win. The Islamic prophecies are a distortion of the Biblical ones, with an outcome that is merely wishful thinking.

    The scary part is that when Isa arrives doing miracles and supporting the Mahdi, many people will be deceived into thinking he really is The Biblical Jesus! And they will be primed to fight against the real Jesus when he arrives.

    If this is true, which I wholeheartedly believe exactly as you stated, how can the Islamic prophecies of the Mahdi and the supposed rise of the end time Ottoman Empire be valid, when the outcome as you said is “wishful thinking” of the Islamists?

Will He be coming into Bozrah in blood stained clothing, torn and tattered looking with what appears to be one good eye and the other one blinded and swollen shut, [when He comes to set the captives free]……picking up on where He was physically; when He was carrying His cross on His way to be crucified???? just wondering. Is it conceivably scriptural at all, in some way, shape or form?

  52. @Curt, I’m so glad you asked that question! They are not valid. The Islamic prophecies are not the source of truth. Instead, they are a counterfeit!

    So let’s look at the definition of counterfeit to really understand what’s going on here. Counterfeit, according to Google, means: made in imitation of something valuable or important with the intention to deceive or defraud.

    How are the Islamic end times prophecies a counterfeit? Well, first, they are in agreement with the valid Christian prophecies that Jesus will return–Muslims believe in Jesus (Isa), and they believe he’s coming back to save the earth. The problem is, the Muslim Isa is a counterfeit Jesus, not the real one.

    So if we place no credence in the Islamic prophecies as truth, why, then, can we say there really will be a Mahdi and a false Christ? Well, a counterfeit by nature contains some truth. Why? Because it is based on the truth, but it’s a poor and inaccurate copy. We, as experts on the things of Christ, must be able to see the counterfeit and recognize where it lines up with scripture, but also where it does not.

    Moreover, we know a counterfeit messiah and false prophet will arrive because the real Christ told us it would happen. Herein lies the truth: Matthew 24:24: For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you ahead of time. “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

    Therefore, the Bible tells us that at the end of time, a COUNTERFEIT messiah and a COUNTERFEIT false prophet will appear claiming to be the real thing. One of them will even claim to be Jesus himself and will do signs and wonders that have the potential to deceive even the elect. But we can know this is not the real Jesus because when the real Jesus arrives, the whole world will see him at once. Also, the real Jesus will not be trying to convert us to Islam.

    Satan is a liar, the master of all liars. But the best lies are based on parts of the truth. Remember, even when Satan tempted Jesus in the desert, Satan himself opened discourse by saying “It is written…” Satan himself tried to use God’s own words to corrupt God himself!

    Here it’s worth mentioning that one of the 99 names of Allah is “The Great Deceiver.” The Muslims pray to him to scheme for them, and not against them.

    @Tony, I highly doubt it, since Christ and the saints will all come back to fight with glorified, incorruptible bodies. There is considerable disagreement in the Islamic scriptures about what the Dajaal will actually look like. The one thing they agree on is that the Dajaal will appear as the leader of an army bent on destroying Allah and his people. So when Christ comes back to do just that, they will recognize him as the Dajaal based on his deeds, not his appearance.

  56. @Diane I don’t doubt that the religion of Islam was crafted by the deceiver himself to be a false religion. But, the truth of the matter is that once you know the true story (The Word of God/Bible and the final Revelation of Christ) which the devil knows very well, it would seem that creating a false religion and false revelations/prophecies that bear some resemblance to the original prophetic revelations would actually be quite easy. Why would the devil do such a thing? Maybe to do what he does best, deceive.

    I think, to be honest with you that I will stick to the true Revelation of the end times, which is only found in the Bible. I don’t think using the Koran, or the knowing the religion of Islam is wise to help us understand these end times, especially when I know who created them.

  57. Hey Curt! I 100% support your position, and I’m afraid I’ve given you the wrong impression. Please know that I am not using the Koran to understand Revelation or prophetic passages in the Bible.

    Rather, I am saying that the Bible has predicted in great detail that a false, anti-Christ theology would arise in the last days, and I believe Islam is that theology. It fits the bill not just in one way, but in myriad ways according to multiple scriptures in Daniel, Psalms, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Joel, the Gospels, Revelation, and more.

    I suppose where I respectfully differ from you is that I think you have to know your enemy. I could not know that a false theology meets the criteria for the prophesied anti-Christ system if I did not know what the tenets of the false theology are. How can you fight the enemy if you don’t know who he is? How can you know when prophecy about your enemy is being fulfilled if you aren’t paying attention to what the enemy is doing?

    For example, if I didn’t know what the Islamic scriptures say, I might be deceived if a Muslim told me “We believe in Jesus, too.” I might take that statement at face value. I might think that Islam could be in some way compatible with Christianity because, after all, Muslims “believe in Jesus,” right?

    But no! Because I have taken the time to study Islam (prayerfully, without taking my focus off Christ), I now know that Islam is anti-Christ even though Muslims claim to believe in Jesus. And in fact, the inscription on the Dome of the Rock reads “Far be it from God that he should have a Son.” That is about as anti-Christ as it gets… but I would not know that if I were not paying attention to their theology. Do you see what I’m saying?

    Regardless, I do believe one can’t go wrong by staying focused on God. And praise God that you are committed to walking in the path of the truth!

  58. agreed curt. the devil loves to counterfeit the Bible in every possible way so we must keep our eyes there so we can spot the lies. that is why when people are trained to spot counterfeit money they get very very practiced with handling real bills so their eyes and hands immediately know the difference so that is a good application for spiritual matters as well. the Spirit of God cannot lie and will always adhere exactly to that precious Word of the Lord–will always reveal the True Jesus.   61. @Diane I hear what you are saying, and I would agree with you on the point that it is wise to know our adversary, and one of the many false religions he has created. It definitely helps us understand truth from lies.

    Having said that, I also keep an eye on the Islamic world and watch very closely the many different pawns as they are move around the end times game board, and personally I welcome discussion of events that are occurring in the Islamic world. They are definitely end times players.

    I just don’t give much consideration to Islamic prophecies or revelations because like I said before, I know where they come from, the father of lies.

    I would encourage you to stick around, we are all believers watching the end times, and I am sure your thoughts and opinions would add to the group.
