I agree – his description of the restrainer is standard pre-trib deciding the text must mean so so and so because that fits with their notion of the timing of the rapture. I hear the “I got this from careful study of the text”, “I didn’t come to this with any preconceived ideas”, “I’m just telling you what I read in scripture” – but when I go and study the same texts, I’m sorry but I can’t find it. Although, I find many texts that suggest that the true follower of Christ will endure tribulations and sufferings of all kinds and will be empowered by the Holy Spirit of God to be blessed to follow in the footsteps of our dear savior, giving glory to God even to our death should we not be destined to live this first life unto the day of the great snatching away of those that belong to Him.

Rob the concern is that the Holy Spirit is the One that teaches and that He IS the SPIRIT of TRUTH, many don’t seem to know His voice and as this clip has proven, it’s all man’s opinions and not Holy Spirit taught.
I suppose that is why God calls us to get out from among them. Judgment sure does begin in the house of God.It has too.

you know something came to my mind this morning as i am reading in the book of acts where stephen is persecuted and then saul becomes paul the apostle and it made me think that Jesus Himself-in the very Word He spoke-poured a whole lot into His disciples to warn, detail, and encourage them about tribulation and then the books of acts when the Spirit of God was poured out into and upon His disciples, the Lord’s Spirit continues to warn, detail, and encourage them about tribulation. i know that believer’s are not going to experience the wrath of God upon themselves-and do not know how long we will endure before brought Home in the rapture-but why all the detailing about this subject of suffering and enduring from the Lord if believer’s are just simply going to be taken out of the world before the tribulation even begins? that does not add up to me. why such prep for those who would supposedly be avoiding it entirely? acts 14:22 comes to mind. Jesus’ high priestly prayer of john 17 was for those disciples with Him that night but he also includes us of the later times (vs. 20-26) for the oneness with Himself-being identified with Him which always draws the world’s hatred–(and the Kingdom of God grows best in times of persecution and tribulation so the world can see His Marvelous Work)–but some just won’t think that through to see if that is the possibility–it’s pre-trib unquestioned……suffering is a hard topic–not good though to avoid it—-that gives me pause….

1} Antidote for bitternes? Bless those who curse you.

7} Honour those that FEAR the Lord.

andrea, the only thought that comes to mind for me concerning the suffering of gods people / and the timing of the tribulation is like i once pointed out – that even before the trib starts,, persecution will ESCHALATE, to a high degree,… and so christians will go thru hell[so to speak],…then perhaps a rapture,…and then the TRIBULATION. i’m not fixed on this scenario, by any means, however as Paul Mcguire pointed it out, it was imo a plausible answer to the puzzle. i’m ready to die for Jesus sake in accordance with the Fathers will. i’ve always trusted my heavenly Father – the way i trusted my mom – and the way i still trust my mom even though her earthly body was put to rest. blessings. please pray for maggie- she seems to be trying to cough something up, daily. hisown that is a wonderfully detailed list you wrote above. thanks for that as it is much to ponder. 🙂 and tony things sure are escalating as you point out but makes me wonder…Jesus said that in the world we will have tribulation but be of good cheer I have overcome the world. (john 16:33) it is a final 3 1/2 years that is the great tribulation-before that is just the mounting of tribulation to get to that point. that is the part (i believe but am leaving open in my mind for the Lord to show me) that i believe we will be taken out of the world somewhere right after that timeframe of that “great” portion begins. because the anti-christ will be on board to persecute the church and that is the testing of our faith in it’s ultimate. it is all heading directly on a collision course as we speak with each passing day so i believe it will be sooner rather than later that we will know for sure……time will tell the story so i keep watching and waiting and praying and sharing the Gospel in the meantime (like yall do 😉 )

Dear Loop, maggie has had her first good night with much-MUCH less haking/coughing, thank God! i looked at internet info on heartworm,..as well as spoke with a few vet’s. i was told by our local vet, who finally got back to me this morning, that i should give her a childs dose of cough medicine with the DM active ingredient in it, so i’ll start that today. He said because of the fact that she is only coughing at nite and fully enthused and energetic during the day hrs, eating well and adventurous and tail-waggin’, that its probably not heartworm …..so i thank God as we follow on this course of action. The youtube videos on heartworm scared me. Now i am more aware and thats a good thing, thanks for your concerned reply. The last few days we have been all over the back country, her and i, as the days have been warm and colorfully inviting,…warm for autum-that is…in the mid 60’s. God be with you

Sorry I scared ya Tony, really didnt mean too, but a friend of mine’s dog did a lot of coughing and was diagnosed with heartworm, the treatment worked for her pet Thank god but they had to keep him quiet for quiet a while, while doing the treatment..
My Pony has Asthma “heaves” is what it is called in horses but the same thing, and he uses the regular meds I use for asthma, he loves the cherry flavored syrup LOL..
Thankfully he doesn’t have to use it often and mostly the Nebuliser (sp) with it stuck into the side of a coffee can to make sure he gets the entire dose takes care of his wheezing.. when he does have a bout with it.. He’ll stand with his nose in the coffee can adn snooze while getting it LOL..
Glad to hear she only has an allergy, poor Maggie, I sure know about those..

Loop, you won’t believe this,…my friend just called me and said she saw on tv that a thousand plus dogs have gotten very sick and many have even died due to chicken jerky treats etc,..that come from china! i looked over the packages of maggies dog treats and woe, some of them were the same brand names as mentioned and yes from china- chicken treats. i threw them all out…….you can see for yourself and tell your friends w/ dogs on the google/youtube videos- the story and probable facts. maggie loves her treats,…i’m praying and loving and trusting. take heed for your lovely sweet dogs

how wonderful is that! tony i’m so glad your Bible is open-and-your eyes are looking upon all the H o p e there is or ever will be! God speaking directly to you to give you His Blessed Assurance of His Great love for you–His call to return! how much we need to hear His Heart-knowing that those who seek Him will find Him! Promises He keeps-to us His people-and to the Israel of God! the promises of His Outpouring upon His sheep-the sheep of His pasture. i have a miracle story of one dark dark winter day a few years ago and the Lord shined the rays of the sun on my Bible rightly directly on a very specific passage that was the very answer i was desperate to know at that very moment. the sun came out and quickly went back behind the clouds that very dark day (not coming out again for the rest of that day-only in those few moments and shined right upon the lines of those verses)…and i had my answer! He knows-He cares-He hears-the cries of our hearts. it was verses 20-25 in jude -know wonder i love that passage so much 😉 -and i knew what He was asking of me in how to handle a particularly trying situation. His Holy Spirit knows exactly how to come alongside us-moving heaven and earth at His Will……….Grace in time of need! what an Absolutely Awesome God.

i did word that like them feller’s in the word of faith mvmt do, didn’t i? i hope and pray that in Jesus name the dis-ease of asthma goes away from loop and her pony…calling upon Jesus is the active ingredient in the prayer to our father. thanks colleen for pointing that out. my dad died at 40 years of age with asthma,…dad’s whites of his eyes were yellow because of all the meds he was on,…i and my 2 younger brothers used to pound on dads back, with cusped hands, to break up the mucus build up in his chest while he laid on the floor. my dad was my baseball coach – he made an all-star pitcher out of me as a young boy…looking forward to seein’ him breathing easy some day soon. after high school i went into respitory treaphy for a while

It has cost my dad his eternal salvation { and many other’s } and am 100% convinced that if he could come back to admit his heretical doctrines and repent of his pride,,,he would.
Almost every day of my life I weep for him as I try to fathom the agony he is in now. You see daddy was my ” god” or better still my “idol” until the Lord saved my soul from the very place where he is right now. I praise God for my salvation ever morning and never take it for granted. He who has been forgiven MUCH…loves much right !!
I know one day He will wipe every tear from my eye’s and I will NO LONGER remember the former things.That includes the pain of knowing where my he is!

A few days ago my “good Samaritan ” sister in Christ and I were discussing the sad reality of the IDOLATRY in the mega churches and I e-mailed her this clip.I’ve just received a e-mail from the ministry of Pastor Joel Talyor with the same clip. I love that.I love that there are godly men and woman that REFUSE to be intimidated.
Please note that many may be offended at the boldness of this pastor and I pray that God’s Word will be the litmus test in all our fellowship and we come to the unity of the faith.
God has promised that many WILL be offended in these end times and ask that you will pray for me as I do for you all daily 😉
