Have you ever met someone who believes they’ve acquired some deeper knowledge of God and in so doing have an elevated sense of “self”. Assuming they’re in some “privileged” class of spiritual people?
I have. My Jehovah’s witness preacher dad. It has cost him dearly, actually it has cost him eternally.
As sad as this sounds, he is now eternally separated from the Lord God he deceived himself into thinking he was serving. He had “knowledge” of God that was placed ABOVE the Word of God, yet he had no love. He did many good works{ to be seen of men } yet he had no love. He had a form of godliness, yet he had no love. He had amazing knowledge , yet he had no love.
Outwardly appearing righteous to men but not hidden from Christ that now has become His judge.
It’s gnosticism repackaged. It’s pride revisited . It’s disobedient and reprobate.
You see my dad had no “sin” as he perceived himself “above” that. His heretical teachings twisted the WORD of God to justify his prideful arrogance with proclaiming that his own death would one day be the payment and penalty from sin. I can only imagine his voice echoing in the empty hallways of eternity , mis-quoting Romans chapter 6 verse 7. Nothing could be more blasphemous than that.
I can’t even begin to imagine the torment and agony of ” but Lord , Lord did I not?” and surrender my limited understanding to the God that knows the secrets and intentions of man’s hearts.I rest in that and find myself at the mercy of a loving, just and righteous God, it’s the safest place to be.
Hbr 4:12 — For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Before we start to mock and point fingers to the cults, let’s re-examine the dangers of this a little closer.
It all started back in the garden. “Enlightenment and oneness” with God. The modern-day version of mysticism and gnosticism. Feelings, visions and knowledge that have now become one’s personal “truth”. God’s word now being replaced by private interpretation and vain imaginations of ones own mind. Not much has changed since that first day of rebellion.

Another jesus, another gospel another spirit.Placing “knowledge ” above the written Word of God.Placing “experience” above the written Word of God.Placing “good deeds”{ philanthropy } above the word of God.
My father soon found out that the JW organization had lied to him as he chose to embrace :
* A false jesus – Michael the archangel lie.
* A false doctrine – There is no heaven or hell lie.
* A false spirit – Jesus Christ is NOT God lie.
So what exaclty has this got to do with evangelical Christianity I hear some say! Well it’s the same lie that has infiltrated the “post modern ” emerging church.
* No literal hell.
* No literal heaven.
* No mention of sin.
* No absolute truth.
* Many ways to heaven – False Jesus.
* Extra biblical revelation -False spirit.
* Universalism – False gospel.
Oh Lord God please have mercy and give us the courage to resist, rebuke and expose the lies that now have become ” truth” – false truth that is.
Do we have “little god’s, experiential and mystical revival ” or “servant-hood, humility and faith” as we prepare for the greatest delusion known unto man?
The most important question in all of this is. What does the Word of God say?
Will I find faith when I return – The Lord Jesus Christ.
Rather than trying to explain the spiritual danger we are facing , this video clip sums it up pretty nicely.
There is a “revival” coming but not of the holy kind. I pray that we will know the difference.

Blood sacrifice never paid for another’s Sin god commanded it His words not mine Ancient Israel offered sacrifice not for there individual sins but for the Nations sin it is a misunderstood concept created via poor translation from Hebrew to Greek that the concept of blood atonement for individual sin was created, it is against Gods commands the same commands that Jesus taught and still Yacov ( James ) insisted upon at the Jerusalem council were Paul was told very clearly not to teach the opposite of the Mitzvot commands of God (Torah ) hence him taking a Nazorite Vow and shaving his head before presenting an offering of his hair and performing Teshuva.( repentance ) odd if he actually believed his sins were washed away by another’s Blood which is going against the commands of God.
Which presents a problem either GOD is a liar ( I think not ) Jesus was a liar ( I think not ) Paul was a hypocrite and taught false Doctorines ( most probable ) or there is clear cut editing of the narratives / records with a later Pen presenting two different story’s about the times of Jesus ( proven fact )

I attended a church where the pastor believed in extrabiblical prophecies and believed God was speaking “fresh revelation” (things that were new and did not need to line up with the Bible) that could only be given and understood by a select few. His teachings were mostly Biblical but his ideas of prophesy created a clear cut line between the elevated believers and the rest of the flock that could not function properly without these elevated believers. I was in that church longer than I should have been but I did get out. Deception can overtake anyone.
Jason you are way off base Biblically. The alleged re-writing and editing of the Gospels is a lie that is oft repeated and well refuted by many scholars. I do have power over sin but only through the blood of Jesus. The argument about Paul being a liar are oft repeated to but Paul staunchly defended Christ and salvation thought Christ alone. Yes many people have and do commit atorcities in the name of Jesus and the name of God. That is attributed not to any alleged editing of the Gospels but to the evil of mankind.
Deception can happen to any of us and I am thankful for sites like Unsealed prophecy that promote real Biblical truth.

I got this daily *thought this morning { from Israel } and would love to share as spoke to my heart about tearing down the idols we see all around us. May it bless you guys as much as it did me.The spirit behind Baal and Asherah are still alive and well today as they were back then. *Judges 6:24-26 So Gideon built an altar there to the Lord, and called it Jehovah Shalom. To this day it is still in Ophrah of the Abiezrites. When Gideon was called by God, a mighty man of valor, his first task was to tear down the idolatrous altars of Baal and Asherah at his father’s house. Though he was ready to obey this command, his obedience was mixed with fear, so he destroyed the idols at night [Judges 6:27]. When the men of the city realized it was Gideon who destroyed their idols, their allegiance to Baal and Asherah drove them to demand Gideon’s life.
But Gideon’s father Joash came to his son’s defense, rather than defending his own idolatry, saying to the men, “If Baal was destroyed by Gideon, then let Baal destroy him!” [Judges 6:31] Perhaps Gideon’s father was convicted by his son’s obedience. In any case his own love for Gideon and his courage to stand against the people of the town saved Gideon’s life and must have encouraged him and given him faith to continue.
God saw in Gideon a man of faith with the potential to overcome his fears. So the Lord called him and brought him into a challenging situation which drew Gideon’s fear into the light and gave him an opportunity to face it and overcome it. He used Gideon’s father’s courage which seems to have passed to his son after the idols were destroyed. But Gideon still needed to grow in trust to fully accomplish what God had called him to do.
Like Gideon, we are destroying the idols in our lives, and have the potential to even bring conviction to the lives of our parents, so that they too might be restored to worshiping the true God. Because of their love for us they may come to our defense and find themselves serving the Lord’s purposes and even being restored to Him. Gideon’s fear did not prevent him from obeying the Lord, and this is why he affected his father and was called a mighty man of valour.
This story of courage and restoration can inspire us in several ways. First, we must not allow our fears to prevent our obedience. Second, our obedience is likely to inspire repentance and loyalty in those close to us. And third, the Lord sees past our fears and He calls us according to His deeper knowledge of who we are as overcomers in Him.

i’d rather be forgiven than enlightened. (for Forgiveness must come first)…..Jesus’ Forgiveness washes my “eyes” to “see” Him high and lifted up above every name on earth or in heaven. that is the enlightenment that pride cannot attain then falls to it’s own destruction.

Many have seared consciences, and many have grieved the holy spirit, and many have used the holy spirit for their wrong doctrines.
God’s word is clearly written and the study of all of it is necessary for us because the deception is great.
Many do not want to study to show themselves approved, they want a pastor/preacher etc to tell them what to believe. It is a dangerous place to be in.
The Torah and old testament prophets all told of the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ in Greek, and Paul knew those scriptures by heart having been taught by the Pharisees. Thanks

The greatest delusion to man has already begun, Globally the church is corrupted and society has lost touch with reality. So many churches have stopped speaking of bible prophecy now, so people have no idea really whats about to happen.
Here is an example from what i read today regarding a cashless society precursor to the Mark of the Beast..

This deception is more subtle and diabolical than what I could ever have imagined . I praise the Lord for His preparing many of us to understand the depth, distractions, tactics and the diversions the enemy uses. Looking back now I thought these lessons were cruel { would we as parents not protect our children from the wolves} but now I understand why. It’s all part of spiritual preparation for the times we are in.Some people went as far as assuming by my trying to warn and expose deception, that I was hiding some closet sin. How sad is that! Praise God he always vindicates and brings all things to His glorious light.
Can you imagine a solider going into battle unprepared , unarmed and not knowing the enemies tactic’s!

it is absolutely a good article and I am also happy that there are websites like this. In the Netherlands, people only seem to focus on the traditional point of view, and there are not many who search for answers themselfes, but rather listen to so called preachers.

I praise the Lord for the courage to stand in these days where truth is evil spoken of.I praise His name for the years of fellowship we’ve have been counted worthy to be partakers of. I praise God for each and every one of you and make mention of you daily in my prayers.
The Lord keeps leading me back to a chapter he confirmed to me to as a new babe in Christ. 2 Peter 2 – especially verse 18 😉
Less than a month after being born again I was invited to a what I now understand to be an “emerging” church. From the very second I walked in I knew something was just not right. { How was I supposed to know what the gift of spiritual discerment was anyways } and leaned over to the lady that invited me to whisper my concern. She silenced me pretty quickly as I blurted out that this feels like a “Roman Catholic” church.She mumbled something of ” oh no dear child, you seem to have a ” JW mind set ” and we love ” Jesus” here. Not being able to contain my” bull in a china shop” faith, I exclaimed- “NOT the Jesus Christ I’ve come to know” ! she was horrified by my almost ” defiant ” refusal to just sit there and not be allowed to question { test } that spirit.Little did I know then , it was not the building but the spirit behind it.This is the same spirit John saw in the book of Revelation- Mystery Babylon.
I walked out half way as people started to roll around the floor being ” blessed” by the likes of Rodney Howard-Browne and the word of Faith co. I left the building and shuddered at the sight of a large “Alpha Course” flag draped over the side of the building.It grieved my spirit like none other and for the life of me could understand why. It took me coming to Canada six years later to understand.Driving past a Roman Catholic church the very same flag adorned the front of the building with mother Mary and little ” jesus” under her feet.It was then that I got my ” aha” moment.
“And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”–Revelation 17:5
The Holy Spirit gave me verse 18 🙂

How many times have many of us been smacked over our hands by pastors for daring to vocalize the danger’s of this ” new thing” this emerging thing that is far more deceptive than what we can ever begin to imagine.
Not only have we embraced Babylonian idolatry but many JUSTIFY it!
You see it’s not just about spiritual fornication, but of covetousness, which is idolatry!!
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not

I’m sorry you don’t like my posts Elo aka – well many other aka’s that often get caught in moderation. I post the political stuff, since that’s my expertise. I look at politics today through eyes that have been opened by the lens of the Gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit. Kind of like Hisown’s eyes above. I pray that none of us will be blind to the lies of the evil one – and will continually use the straight stick of scripture as a lamp to their feet and light to their path. There is so much deception out there – a pope pronouncing Atheists among the redeemed, a global jihad of islam against who the call the “infidels”, murder masquerading as “birth control”, and people who can no longer tell the difference between man and woman.

I just watched a documentary about GMO food how they are changing it to be resistant to chemicals and other stuff. Scary part in it is there is a gene called the Epicyte gene that causes people to become sterile, Does the bible anywhere say anything about this stuff or is it just part of the whole end scenario do you think? its honestly pretty scary.. link to video below 🙂

Thanks be to God, His Love is REAL and truely sustaining as each day has its offerings thru the wonderful workings of The Holy Spirit, comforting…..as promised. All Glory to the Father God YAHWEH. i say again, “miraculously in Christ”, amen. His Love IS the awnser,…He alone IS the awnser. Praise you Lord Jesus forever and ever,…….death, where is your sting? I’m at peace in Christ and praying your all the same, anchored to Him. i pray for your prayers, please pray for me and mine. i miss mom and boy do i miss my little ole sam with his big lovingly joyful wonderfull heart. he was my everyday sidekick heart-throb, pride n joy, love of my life child of innocence n play, so plumb full of unconditional love. i never made it to arizona to be with mom in the flesh over the course of it all, but sammy made it to mom for now. i had 4 years with sam, every day out in the countryside, fields meadows rivers n streams, deep woods, high adventure like you read about in a story book, helping each other up over huge boulders and on thru thickets, deep snow etc,….soo devoted to one another in need and in deep trusting love…………….and its never gonna end…………………………………never,…. cause he and i are forever. the boy gave me a true taste of heaven.,…something to look forward to!!!,…he left me an IMPRESSION! Now that made me cry like a little girl Tony! I’m so sorry and please know that my heart feels the pain for the loss of a mother and your ” gazzossiee” best friend.May the Lord Jesus comfort you with the same comfort as you abide , rest and wait on Him. He is the lover of our soul’s, the author of our salvation and has promised to be our very best friend. Run to Him alone, He alone can comfort and console with heart like none other.
2Cr 1:4 — Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
As Christ is my witness the Holy Spirit has being prompting me to pray for you over the last few days { for Vic as well } and understand why. I love how the Lord works and give Him all the praise for the unction and prompting of the Holy Spirit. I never want to see this little place of fellowship fall into the trap of – Mat 24:12 — And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Christ said we would be KNOWN by the love we show to others.Sadly I’m seeing a deterioration of that all around me. I pray that we would never tire of bearing one another’s burdens.
A little prayer lifted up in childlike faith is not only precious, it’s such a wonderful privilege 🙂
Now that I had a good cry, I can lift up a prayer of thanks- giving!

tony you have been on my heart-especially lately. (like vic and Hisown i see) was wondering if your mom had gone on to be with Jesus and now i know……i am sorry for your loss (of both of your loved ones)–but those words don’t cut it—when i ponder that all is Gain in Christ Jesus afterall…so i want to rejoice with you tony for the Peace of Knowing Who has your mom with Him but i also pray for the Comfort of the Holy Spirit to soothe the ache of missing their presence in the now. it brings joy through tears to think of our beloveds in the Arms of Jesus–and in my mind part of our tears are the longing to be there with Him too! one day…………one day soon…face to Face…..and..no….more….goodbyes…………………………..Jesus loves you brother!

I have read a lot about this but it seems to me again man trying to interfere with God’s creation.
As well as the fact that they added all the antibiotics to chickens, cows, etc so that they could keep them close together in almost inhumane conditions and they not get infections.
Now most people suffer because of this and we have strains of bacteria that have mutated into whatever.

Tony I praise God for the kindness{ and true agape love } that Shorty has shown you.This is love in action and even though I don’t know him from Adam, the Lord knew that you needed a godly man to encourage, exhort and edify you in a very personal way. This blesses me beyond anything you can even begin to imagine.
You see I too have been blessed by a godly woman { she is old enough to be my mother } that is mentoring me in so many areas of my life. There is a reason why the Lord calls men to council men and women to seek council and advice from women{ that are mature- not only in years but in the faith as well.}
Please know that we all love you here at Vic’s place and I for one pray often for you. My prayer is that you will become c o m p l e t e in Christ alone and that He becomes your FIRST and ONLY true love. That is my prayer.
