25 nations ready for battle in the Middle East

Armada of British naval power massing in the Gulf as Israel prepares an Iran strike

 The Telegraph reports:

Battleships, aircraft carriers, minesweepers and submarines from 25 nations are converging on the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in an unprecedented show of force as Israel and Iran move towards the brink of war.

Western leaders are convinced that Iran will retaliate to any attack by attempting to mine or blockade the shipping lane through which passes around 18 million barrels of oil every day, approximately 35 per cent of the world’s petroleum traded by sea.

A blockade would have a catastrophic effect on the fragile economies of Britain, Europe the United States and Japan, all of which rely heavily on oil and gas supplies from the Gulf.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most congested international waterways. It is only 21 miles wide at its narrowest point and is bordered by the Iranian coast to the north and the United Arab Emirates to the south.

In preparation for any pre-emptive or retaliatory action by Iran, warships from more than 25 countries, including the United States, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, will today begin an annual 12-day exercise.

Comment:

There’s a storm brewing on the horizon and it seems like only some Christians are noticing. 25 Nations are being represented in the Middle East, ready for battle, but everyone sees it as a harmless exercise. I am sure that there is more to it than meets the eye.

Friends, as most of you knows, I do not believe in a 7 year tribulation as the Bible never speaks of a 7 year trib. I believe that the AoD will start of the final 3.5 years trib and I believe the AoD is the next big event on the prophetic calender. I also believe that the AoD has got much to do about Jerusalem surrounded by armies combined with the rise of the man of sin. That is why news about 25 armies/navies close to Israel is huge.

The day is gonna come when the world is going to turn against Israel. They will see Israel as the problem and the solution will be to neutralize her. These armies will somehow march into Israel, surround Jerusalem and their presence will not be good news for the Jews, but they will have to flee or die.

If I can speculate a bit I will say the odds are good for a military strike against the Iranian nuclear plants. This will destabilize the Middle East and plunge it into war. The flow of oil will be disrupted which in turn will shake the already fragile world economy. As oil and the economy is much more important than Israel, these 25+ nations will try to stop the war by moving on Israel. Maybe they will do it under an umbrella of peace, just to stop Israel from attacking the Muslim nations and to keep the Muslim nations happy. The AC will also come into Jerusalem as a negotiator. But then, while the armies are in Israel, all hell breaks loose and they start killing the Jews and the Jews must flee.

These are my thoughts and it is most probably wrong. It is just a possible way I see prophecy moving forward. Just stay prepared friends. We do not have long to wait.

Luk 21:20-33 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring. Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

  1. Vic this does not bode well and yes we may be seeing the ” ambush” happening right before our very eyes as God raises up the SPIRIT of the MEDES to bring about His divine appointed time and judgment. He has spoken it, who will nullify it ?

Not only is Israel in a very dangerous postion but so is America, the difference is God is for Israel and His hand is against America. I stand in amazement of those that cast us out when we dared to share this concern as they still justify their hatred and vehemently protect their postion.

I agree it is the surrounding of Israel which is the abomination that brings desolation that we are seeing being set up, yet so many are still waiting for things to play out in a ” Left Behind” movie theme. All part of the strong delusion I suppose 😦

This has been the ” burden” since the Lord affirmed it back in early 2007 and was reminded of this post from FP.These verses were all independently confirmed from prayer partners over a year of seeking the Lord for the answers.

It is His Appointed Time of Vengeance:

    Luke 21:22-Vengeance
    Isaiah 34:8- Vengeance
    Isaiah 47:3-Vengeance

    Destroying Wind( Nuclear fire ?)

    Isaiah 13:8-Flames-Fire-As Sodom and Gomorrah.

    Jeremiah 50:40-As Sodom and Gomorrah.

Jude 7- Vengeance- Fire as Sodom and Gomorrah

Medes will be raised up -by the Lord

Jeremiah 51:11- Spirit of the Medes.

    Isaiah 13:17-Stir up the Medes.

Why He will not deliver in this time:

    Provoking the Lord to anger:

    Judges 10:13-14

    Proverbs 1:22-33

  2. i see a “gathering” of armies as the times are getting very “ripe” for fulfillment. the current scenario looks like it can be the kickoff to the aod and the big reveal of the man of sin in my book too. if that is the case the 3.5 years left will commence soon. God is going to do what God is going to do and we’ll understand more so i’m not worried about being right near as much as being watchful and heeding. i miss that thumbs up feature sometimes so i can thumbs up what you wrote vic (and others too). i believe we are seeing multiple layers of fulfillment–several timelines converging upon the near future that we have made note of because israel herself is the big sign–the world is mounting forces against israel but we know it is because they are-ultimately-really against God.

  4. Vic Wickus,

As usual very insightful information. I want you thank you for bringing a level of wisdom to the Body of Christ by means that are sound, Scriptural, and no doubt from God.

Far too many so-called modern day men of God – or want to be prophets, attempt to tie politics into Scripture and their biases are so blatant that it leaves a very sour taste in the mouth of those who really want the truth. Christians, please be careful when listening to talk radio shows, the media, and those who want to distort the truth for personal reasons.

I believe that some of those who speak out against rulers that God has put in place – and that for His own Sovereign reason(s), actually send out strong delusional language in as much, that they get folks focused on the person they want or don’t want in office, and miss the true Scriptural evidence that is actually happening before our very eyes. These people have so much hatred, that they actually believe the lies that they are telling. It’s sad……as it is not about a particular political party, or even the person – God’s Will, will be done. Dear Body of Christ, we have to realize that God is really and truly in control of it all. So please don’t be mesmerized by the hateful, disrespectful words that come from those who have an a particular political, or self-serving agenda – as it can be very, very convincing when we don’t have answers.

But again, many thanks to you Vic Wickus. You bring a non-partisan view to the events that are happening in our World, and you always have. It’s truly a breath of fresh air. It causes those who are watching, to remain focused on the true issues. And as you have mentioned “only some Christians are noticing”. Prayerfully, many more will come to understanding, and rightly divide the Word of God.

    Thank you my friend,

This may sound wrong, but it’s fascinating to watch the Word of the Lord NOT return void and the accuracy of how it’s unfolding boggles my mind. God is so amazing that He would in His garce prepare us for this way before it all came down! I stand in awe.

A sound of battle [is] in the land, and of great destruction.

There is a massive showdown coming in the Strait of Hormuz and Iran may have the upper hand (for a time ).

Iran may shut down the “mouth” of the waterway and we know what that starts! I wonder if this correspondes with Satan being cast out and causes all h*ll to break loose on earth ?

Could this be the intense spiritual battle we have all being feeling over the past little while ? If this is how it feels now I can’t even imagine how it will be once he is cast down and goes after God’s chosen and the REMNANT of her seed , (which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ)

    Isaiah 14.

    They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, [and] consider thee, [saying, Is] this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

[That] made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; [that] opened not the house of his prisoners?

    Jer 50- 51
In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.

For Israel [hath] not [been] forsaken, nor Judah of his God.

I just wanted to share with you a dream that my wife told me she had last night.

Her dream actually shocked me, in the fact that she even told me because if you knew my wife – she absolutely does NOT talk about prophecy whatsoever. She reported her dream as follows:
(I was at work when I called my wife at 5:10 am) – She shocked me by saying:

That a loud voice came from Heaven stating: ” If you believe in me, then get aboard this boat”. She said that she was unsure whether a select few heard it, or everyone heard it. She described the boat as being HUGE …it was an ARK – as she described it -like just as in the Day of Noah, and it just appeared out of no where. She said that our family had boarded – but, there were many people who did not. She goes on to state that the Ark or Boat contained Hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of people; but there were more people who did not board – like in the hundreds of millions. There were too many to understand, but there were so many fewer on the Boat (Ark) in comparison to those who either did not hear the voice, or just simply chose not to get on board. Carrying on with life just as usual – basically ignoring the voice from Heaven. She then states as the waters began to come, the people who did not come aboard were beating down the doors of the Ark – however they were not allowed to enter, and the waters overcame them. Then her dream ended.

Folks, I asked her if I could have the permission to pass this dream of hers on, and she agreed – but she felt a bit unsure, as she is not into sensationalism, and she didn’t want to send the wrong message to anyone. You see my wife is a very, very humble lady. Well, she has to be in order to deal with me (lol). But I found this dream that she had – to be fitting right in the current times that we are in now, and I found it very ironic that my wife, who is a born again christian, and never speaks on End Time prophecy, has been given a dream relating to prophecy.

Has anyone else had a dream either relating to this, or a dream, vision of some short that could relate to this whole proximity of the Arab Spring and other events that are transpiring?

Just thought I’d ask…because trust me folks, It’s very unusual for my wife to be telling me that she’s had a dream relating to Bible Prophecy.

  8. Mr. Baldy, I have been reminded at times, by the Holy Spirit, when I feel anxious about these last days, that Jesus Christ is my Ark and I pray for my spiritual family to get on board! A.W. Pink has a chapter on Genesis 7,’ the Typology of the Ark’ in his book, ‘Gleanings in Genesis’. Several things he notes in connection with the Ark is that it is a Divine provision, a place of refuge into which Noah and family could flee from the impending storm of judgment; into this ark man was invitied to come; the ark was a place of absolute security; the ark had only one door to it. Jesus Christ is our place of refuge, He is the Door. The gospel message is good news!

What if… Resurrection day was planned al along to replace sun-day?
What if the first day in the week – which is also the eighth – was always meant to be a sign of new beginnings?
(See how it came up in the ‘Chrisis upon chrisis’ thread.)

I know this is off topic.

Can you find a Scripture verse anywhere where we are told by God to drop one of the commandments? I know man has dropped the fourth commandment out of tradition, and is worshiping on Sunday, but is there any place in Scripture that you find we are told to change it by God? We speak of the 10 Commandments, but don’t we really mean 9?

  13. Connie, God does not drop the commandment. I recently debated with some on here as well as my pastor and another church member. Those who oppose the traditional Sabbath (Friday sundown to Saturday sundown) use Colossians 2:16-17, Acts 15:19-20 incorrectly in my opinion. They also point to Acts 20:7 and 1 Corinthians 16:2 saying the Apostles started meeting on the first day of the week. Just b/c they were meeting on the first day of the week does not state they were not observing the traditional Sabbath. I have started moving my family towards obeying the Lord’s Sabbath. It is not easy. I have been told it is legalistic, but I usually come back with is it legalistic to obey God? Observing the Sabbath does not justify or sanctify anyone, but we are called to obey God.

Rom 14:2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
Rom 14:3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
Rom 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
Rom 14:6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. &.. …..Rom 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Rom 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way. — if fully convinced in our minds by the convictions we believe from the Lord then we have confidence in God. see 1 john 3:21. we are free in other words! our freedom in Christ is so precious and by it we can give each other grace and space to be edified as we all grow in faith. my faith over these 36 years has grown but it seems for a little while i went a somewhat backwards trying to get to the understanding that i am free in Christ -and- so are other believers who are not like me! now that is a lesson! (You mean Lord , they do not have to be just like me? 🙂 ) i can see better that Jesus is our Bond! i’m glad the church is not to be like a cookie-cutter thing! our Unity is in Christs’ Salvation but our Liberty is in Christ’s Love! i bet i’m not the only one having to still learn this! 🙂 Love is the more excellent way while we are all looking through the dark glass –but one day Face to face. i Love Jesus and i’m in good company i see–i love you all too…………………………………………………………..

I did not throw out the questions because I did not have the answers. I have done extensive research on why the church now worships on Sunday and have studied what the Scriptures have to say on the matter and have become convinced as to what is correct and what is not. I merely threw out the questions, as I thought that Angela ought to ask herself those questions and dig for the answers herself. Just out of curiosity, how many of you have delved deeply into the history of how Sunday came about? Do you really know how it all came to be? You might be surprised at the answer.

When we have time to talk he tells me that he sees in the future a time when all people will go back to worshipping on Saturday as scripture describes. He tells me he prays that i will consider honoring the Sabbath the way he does. I don’t want to offend him, but it sounds awfully legalistic to say, ‘we should worship on this day and no other.’ It wouldn’t concern me but that he seems to focus on the issue of Saturday worship the way Catholics focus on Mary. It is THE issue for him, them. 2 cents.

SDAs believe Sunday worship is the mark of the beast, hence their zealousness over the issue.

Is keeping a commandment legalistic? Jesus did say that if we love Him we will keep His commandments. Is it any more legalistic to think we should observe the fourth commandment about the Sabbath than the ones that tell us to honor our parents or not worship idols or any of the other 10 Commandments? Are there 10 or only 9 Commandments?

If Jesus fulfilled the law, so some feel we are not obliged to follow the 4th commandment because of this, does that mean we are also not obliged to observe the other 9? If the answer is no, why not? What is the difference between one commandment and another? Is there a difference between the 10 Commandments and the hundreds of other laws that were given to Israel? Did all of the laws (613) qualify as commandments? When Jesus said we should keep His commandments was He speaking of just the 10 or the 613? If the 10 commandments are not necessary to keep because that is being legalistic, then of what commandments is He speaking when He says we are to keep His commandments?

The resurrection was on Sunday, because that was the fulfillment of the Feast of Firstfruits which was always on the Sunday after Passover. It had no relevance to the weekly Sabbath day as Passover could fall on any day of the week, but Firstfruits had to be on Sunday. Does that give us license to change the Sabbath day anymore than we should move the resurrection day to the pagan goddess Eastre’s celebration day, or should we simply celebrate the resurrection on the Sunday following Passover and observe the Sabbath, as God first mandated, on Saturday the rest of the year? These are just rhetorical questions for you to ponder, I am not looking for answers.

  20. One thing think about is when was the Sabbath command issued. It was long before the 10 commandments came about. Jesus fulfilled Moses law, the Mosaic law. Their is a difference. The Mosaic law was communicated through Moses and placed outside the ark while the ten commandments were physically written by God and placed inside the ark.

  23. Amen Mr B,

You said ” No one can truly keep the commandments of God”

How true is that and if we think we have arrived at that then we have a huge problem.

Jam 2:10 — For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

My question is , if you obey all commandment why not walk away from all you have ? Can you walk away from all you have acquired in your life for the CAUSE of Christ , even heritage homes? I did – from one that I had no mortgage on 🙂 families, heritages …..etc . Sorry not being facetious here but just stating a fact 🙂

Luk 18:22 — Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

I love how the Lord showed me this verse for someone that was ” keeping” the law yet was so fileld with pride in the process 😦

So what’s the use of doing this and there is no true agape love from those that claim to be ” obeying” God. That just boggles my mind ! Sad really!

Showing off in the flesh – not a good thing I would say 🙂

Gal 6:12 — As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

    One word- L O V E .

My two cents and a huge passion for me as you can tell 🙂

What scripture can you provide for us to prove this statement? I can’t recall any command that pertained to the Sabbath before the Law of Moses given by God.

    Like

  25. Agie95,

I am alongside you on this issue. There is a reason why God is calling some of us back to the Sabbath. Not everyone will understand the call we have received. We can try to explain it, but it will not be understood by those who aren’t hearing a call to do this. It has nothing to do with legalism. According to the N.T. we are not required to keep kosher, (although there is no restriction from doing so) or do some other things. This is mainly about the Sabbath and feast days and removing paganism from our lives (which is just as prevalent in Judaism as it is in Christianity, which is a point some Messianics miss).

Are not those who so strongly defend Sunday worship being just as legalistic? If it isn’t important, why not worship on Saturday? Why must it be Sunday if you aren’t being legalistic? Or why not make Monday, Tuesday, etc. your day of worship? Why is Sunday so important? Jesus rose on the Feast of Firstfruits. It so happens it was a Sunday. What if it were a Wed? Would you meet then? Why jump on Sabbath keepers as being legalistic when Christians treat Sunday with as much legalism? I know churches who chastise members who are not there on Sundays. They say it is not optional. Is not this legalistic?

  26. I find the more this is being discussed, the more there is a groaning in my spirit.

I have no desire to get into this ” sabbath keeping debate ” as the pride that is being manifested is deplorable and oh so disconcerting.

God has NOT shown me to keep the sabbath and wonder why( that’s rhetorical anyways)

In my walk I’ve only met a handful of people that have given everything up for the cause of Christ and praise the Lord for the honour of that!!!

I pray that those that desire to be “perfect ” will heed the challenge and to give it all away 🙂 Not that easy right 🙂 Do we worship Him just with our lips and only when we have all that our little hearts desire? . I think not!

If we say we LOVE Him and OBEY Him in EVERYTHING then should we not also follow the command of : Mat 6:19 — Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Mat 19:29 — And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Not that I boast in ANYTHING but Christ and Him crucified , but if ” the rest of us” are NOT ” getting it ” then what is it that is ” restricting us from this ” divine revelation”?

    I don’t need the answer…

    Shalom.

  27. Shortribber,

Just thought I would give you a possible answer on that question of where does the Lord command the Sabbath before Moses. It wasn’t a command as such. In Gen. 2:2-3 we are told “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” God sanctified or set aside as holy the seventh day of the week as a rest day. Christ told us that He did this not just for Himself, but for man. Mark 2:27 “And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.” If it was made for man, why keep it a secret?

God did not give a list of laws, but obviously there were some understandings as to behavior and requirements right from the beginning. Example, Abel and Cain offered sacrifices. Where is the command to do that, yet obviously God expected it. Cain murdered Abel and was punished for it. Where was the law “Do not kill” listed in Genesis? Nowhere. Yet it was obviously a rule they understood because Cain knew he was in trouble. When God gave the commandments, what did He say about the Sabbath? He said, “REMEMBER the Sabbath day to keep it holy.” How do you remember something about which you have never known and are completely unfamiliar? You don’t. God references the Sabbath as if they knew what it was. They didn’t say, (As Bill Cosby in his Noah routine says about the ark) “Right. What’s a Sabbath?”

Remember also means keep as a memorial. They were to keep the memorial of God’s rest day of creation, because it had been sanctified right from the beginning, NOT from the giving of it to Moses. Is it not most likely that God wanted this observed right from the start? If they understood sacrifices and that killing was wrong without the Laws of Moses, and God created the Sabbath for man and set it aside as holy, do you not think He probably instructed them to observe it? Every indication is that He did. Why else would people be observing a seven day week? Ancient Babylon and Sumeria observed a seven day week long before God gave it to Moses. Why? Someone had clued them in. It must have been brought over from before the Flood by Noah, don’t you think? In fact, God gave Noah seven days (one week) to prepare to board the ark. That may be significant.

  28. Hi Connie,

The requirements of God are based on absolute and clearly defined matters. Our action to do, or not do, any command that in anyway involves ambiguous observations and conjecture is not an absolute requirement by God.

In a nut shell, when the matter is absolutely black and white, obey that command, when it is not, obey what you believe you are absolutely convinced in your own heart to do.

And God will honor your faith in doing so……because before Him alone do we stand or fall.

6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.

14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

  31. So very beautiful yes amen sis.

Thank-you for your continual exhortation, encouragement and edification but most of all thank -you for your LOVE.

It’s amazing how much in how we ” love and serve one another” is really an act of worship and not only that but it’s a COMMAND 🙂

I refer to agape love – NOT “INORDINATE” love that Col chapter 3 warns about, that ” love” defrauds and causes many to stumble 😦 I know it does me!

That no [man] go beyond and defraud his brother in [any] matter: because that the Lord [is] the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 1 Thes 4

Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Jhn 15:17 — These things I COMMAND you, that ye love one another.

……. he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

  35. just in my own spirit, i reason that all 10 commands of God are equally important,… and if you have it written upon your heart to love the Lord your God, with all your heart, and to love your neighbor as yourself, why then you will take note of ALL 10 and practice obedience there to, and there of , and there in……… and there out. You gotta get in to get out. Fear God and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. / how about another angle, If you forgive others, God will forgive you. this of course is in the gospel. If ,i say If you forgive others. Sounds like to me, if you expect to be forgiven of your tresspasses against God, you’d better get to forgiving all others! an IF..THEN type of deal! / Now, was this written before Jesus went to the cross???….. but WAIT, wait, we are saved by Grace, thru faith!……yes but of the 3 things faith, hope and love….Love is the most great. Oh,i get it, the Grace thru faith IS LOVE! UNMERITED LOVE! but above,in this paragraph, it was good works, ie. forgiving others, that earned us our forgiveness from God. /// i wonder if the actual teaching is saved by GRACE thru Faith, not by works[alone], that any man should boast. In my saying this, i have the thought that our works are very important and a definite part of the equation. A part that musn’t be and cannot be left, out because if so, then the entire equation becomes unbalanced. , and the equal sign between the 2 sides, becomes an unequal sign! get it. YOU GOT TO GET IN,TO GET OUT. following the 10 commandments and observing the Feasts of the Lord, is a sign of a peculiar people. { IN to Yahweh’s way,…and OUT of the worlds way.} Be not conformed.///////i had no idea i was going to put that message forth,…only the first sentence. i have goose bumps and shivers. Let us reason together. Lets Get Together ,…in love, and consider this concept and see where it leads us. May the Spirit of Truth, lead the way in the name of Jesus, amen.

The = sign becomes an uneqal sign. With little or poor obedience????? i guess you make it but without many awards, and of course with greater obedience comes greater awards upon entering His Kingdom. “Grow up…………………………that’s what “Matters Most”

“Among True Christians…..do you suppose Pride,Greed, Selfishness, and Self-Righteousness was greatly cultivated in their hearts or were these bitter fruit left unattended to rot as they should?

……before the printing of the 1611 King James Bible, there occurred something called, The Great Ejection. Many wonderful minsters of the Word of God were ejected from the Church of England and became Nonconformists. They, in short, would not “Conform” to, and be in Absolute Agreement with the 39 Articles of the Church of England. These “Dissenters”found themselves under heavy persecution, imprisonment and even fear of death from their own protestant “Brothers”.
So, even though the Beautiful and Glorious Word of God was so greatly read and learned, from about 1606 until i think 1696, Christians, true Christians the most of them it seems, literally slandered, war-ed and fought among themselves…even killing each-other………..for what they THOUGHT mattered……for what they THOUGHT true.”

We are so at this very same place again . Another believer and I were discussing the “dark ages ” a few days ago and expressed the same prideful , arrogant and self serving ” spirit” is prevalent in many now as it was back then .The evil RCC spirit is alive and well, it rears it’s ugly head in many circles today and many poor souls are still entrapped by it’s prideful and seductive tentacles. Poison to the soul and canker to the bones!

There is a spiritual ROOT that comes down the history of time and this spirit despises the true child of God. We are a sweet smelling sacrifice to those that walk in the LIGHT but are a STENCH to those that walk in the darkness.

We are called to love one another out of a PURE heart yet what’s so fascinating is that love can NOT be “faked”,,,,,it can be for a shot while but the TRUE intentions of that is quickly known to the discerning believer. Satan has ” love” as well…it’s CONDITIONAL and one has to work for it and it always carries a ” ye owe me now” accusation , yet Christ LOVED us BEFORE we loved Him and GAVE Himself for us.

It is His love that we are told to emanate and it is this love that can never be ” counterfeited ” it eventually shows it’s true colours and the spirit behind it.

This is a very sensitive subject for me and have been deeply wounded by many who have this ” spirit” but praise the Lord I cling too, “if He be for me, who can be against me” and the WOE it carries to the one that causes an offence to one of His little ones.

    I love that 🙂

Thank-you Shorty for closing the subject on this now and pray that we can get back to the events of what is going on in the original post of this discussion.

    Love and blessings to all.

  47. Awww… I wrote a long comment, and then lost it…! 😦

Anyway, Hisown, I looked at your video link, and some more of the same. This is a good presentation of the pre-wrath understanding, which I personally believe to be so much more on target than the pre-trib (dare I say) misunderstanding.

I agree whith most, if not all of their (pre-wrath) arguments, as they seem to be scriptural and well founded. However, I find a slight glitch in this outline, that doesn’t seem to fit with the sum of all things…

The pre-wrath timeline places the resurrection/rapture after the great falling away, and after the Antichrist is revealed, but before the wrath of God – and rightly so – they have full biblical support so far.
My problem whith their suggested timeline is, that they present all events from Revelation in chronological order. Thus, the trumpets all happen After the resurrection/rapture, and in consequence After the return of te Lord. Whereas my understanding is that the Bible tells us of a resurrection/rapture AT the last trump?

Yes, so there is a problem, that the otherwise so faithful, Berean pre-wrathers seem to ‘skip over’. What happens whith ‘The Last Trump’?

What if the account in Revelation is meant to give ‘overlapping layers’ of the picture?
In the two first chapters of Genesis, we see this happening, as the account of creation is re-told from a ‘different camera angle’. Can we find any more scriptural examples of ‘overlapping accounts’ of te same events, from ‘different camera angles’?
    How about the four Gospels?

(If we got linear thinking from the Greeks, then perhaps the hebrew way of narrating is different? It seems to me that hebrew narrative – and indeed God’s narrative – is about pattern, and the repetition of thet pattern, as in ‘foreshadow’, versus ‘ultimate’ fulfilment.)

So, If Revelation re-tells the end time epic in complementing layers, is it right for us to lay it all out in a consecutive timeline? What about the ‘last trump’? And what about ‘blessed is he who perseveres, and reaches 1335 days’? Who is this admonition referring to, if we are already ‘outta here’?

Just some thougts – and I’m not expecting you to answer. 🙂

  48. Hi Hisown,

Well, about my comment to Rickey, Christ was speaking to “All”, not just the Jews/National Israel……..That is, the “time of testing” to occur at the end of days is not just for a select group, but for “All”.

And the video….saw parts….and is typical Prewrath view it seems. I do agree about who the restrainer is.

Michael “at that time” will “Stand Still/Amad”……he will not stand up and fight.

  49. Angela,
Your thinking is absolutely correct IMO…….take alook at this please….

At the opening of the sixth seal we see the signs in the sun, moon and in the heavens that parallel those found in Joel, Mathew and various others and ends with such words as “hide us from the face of Him who sets on the throne and from the wrath of the lamb”,Rev 6:16 “for the great day of his wrath has come and who shall be able to stand?”vs.17

Here’s where traditional prewrath sees the rapture occurring based on the words in vs 17 (I agree, in part, but I’ll show you where I differ some).
Traditional prewrath finds what Marvin Rosenthal described as “a convergence”@ rev. 6:17 and all that follows thereafter (trumpets and such)is the wrath of God based on the words “His wrath has come” thus the name “prewrath”.

Here’s an idea that must be remembered in order to grasp the remaining pattern and timeline I’ll try to explain to you.

The nearly identical statement “His wrath has come” is found in Rev11:18, in Rev6:17 the statement is said by the ungodly and in Rev 11:18 it is said by the twenty-four elders.

    (2) All of the trumpet judgements are superimposed over the fourth thru sixth seals making the first trumpet coincide exactly with the revealing of the antichrist (the loser) so that all seven trumpets share the same time period as seals 4-6.
Of interest to me is that three(number of perfection) seals are enveloped and given greater clarity by seven (number of completion) trumpet judgements.

(3)Since the trumpets overlap seals 4-6 the gathering occurs at the seventh trumpet (the LAST trump)I Chor 15:51-52.
Rev 11:12-18 coincides exactly with Rev6:16-17. This is why I agree that Rev 6:17 is when the gathering occurs, because the seventh trumpet sounds at that point.

Well, you might say, that is not so, the trumpet judgements span a period of SEVEN years……oh?…..show me proof of that in scripture.
You may have your opinions but no proof for timelines exist among the seven trumpets themselves to suggest they need to stretch beyond three and a half years.

Backing up just a little bit i need to point out something that is often overlooked at the end of Rev 6:17.
Remember the words “His wrath has come”, these are the words that generally garner the most attention and study, but,the statement continues……..”who shall be able to stand”, these are critical words. Why? Because the following chapter introduces those who will stand, the 144,000 and the Church.

  50. cont. from above post…

I need to mention something here in regard to timelines: there is a common term used to describe sections of John’s visions, I’ve used the term but as of recently found it to be inadequate. “Parentheses” is the term I have discarded in this writing in favor of “Definitive Interlude”.
The reason for calling certain sections of John’s vision a “Definitive interlude” is somewhat self explanatory in that they contain an area within the main vision that is not necessarily sequential but create a pause to give greater clarity to the overall vision.

From this point I will no longer type “Definitive Interlude” but will instead use “D.I.”.

Having said that let’s look back to D.I. number one (Rev chapter 7).

Why, you may ask would I classify Rev chap 7 a D.I.? Because it is set in it’s position to give a “definitive” answer to the question posed in the previous chapter and verse, that being “who shall be able to stand”? It is also sandwiched between the sixth and the seventh seal thereby creating an “interlude” within them.

There is a pattern also that should be pointed out, if we look at the seals as a kind of condensed overview or introduction to the greater vision that speaks of God’s proof to His people that even given ample time and opportunity the enemies of the cross HAVE NOT and WILL NOT defeat us!

The pattern of covering large spans of time to prove God’s deliverance is abundant throughout the greater single revelation to John.

Try now if you will to imagine a scroll rolled up tightly in front of you on a table or desk, it is sealed from top to bottom with seven seals. It is evident the contents contained in it are “condensed”, rolled together tightly. Now try to imagine a seal pops open and you then are able to peek inside just a little bit, then anther seal pops and you can peek just a bit more, and one by one the seals pop until the scroll is able to open and lay flat on the table for your viewing.

the above illustration is one of the reasons I see the seals as condensed and introductory in nature.

What follows after them are more detailed and spread out for our seeing and understanding. Now I’ll move on to the trumpets.

Let me begin by helping the reader to notice something I feel is vital to our understanding of the trumpets: have you ever noticed how the first SIX trumpets scarcely take up little more than one and a half chapters, but two chapters are dedicated to the SEVENTH trumpet? Shouldn’t this be our first clue the LAST trumpet is being assigned much, much greater significance than the other six?

There is so much information contained in chapter ten alone that I find it inconceivable that anyone should contend against the idea that this IS the LAST TRUMP of which Paul prophesied in 1Chor 15: 51-52.

  51. Wow! Thank you, Shorttribber!
That was fast – and thorough. 🙂

As I am a bit dizzy right now, I just about managed to read through your follow-up post, and I think I got it! And by the look of the first part, it seems you and I have reached the same conclusions? And I am by no means a scholar!
(I’m just a Swedish sister, whith some extra time to read, and think, since my illness keeps me rather house bound…)

Since the prewrathers aim at being good Bereans, which they also are, to a great extent, I was just a bit puzzled by the apparent lack of consistency, when it comes to basically ignoring the Last Trump, among other things…

In Sweden one would hardly hear of the ‘prewrath’ position (which by their own admission is only about 20 years old). Most peaple here are still pre-trib by upbringing and habit, even though we’ve seen an ‘awakening’ of sorts among those, who tend to be awake in other areas as well.

God’s way of ‘overlapping patterns’ would make rater a pretty quilt, don’t you think – compared to the Greek piece of string! 😀

    4) Fearless as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

    5) Wisdom as Daniel.

    Just for you 🙂

    *The Five smooth stones.

I know *this is a Hollywood depiction but it reminded me of what the Lord showed me in July last year and the FIVE SMOOTH stones for the body of Christ – for a time such as this.

    1) Zechariah 4:6
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

    2) Revelation 12:11

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb,

    3) and by the word of their testimony;

    4) and they loved not their lives unto the death.

    Revelation 12:10-12

    5) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

    Isaiah 55:10-12

This is how I KNOW that the Lord is blessing our little place of fellowship. I praise God for you guys and love you with the love of the Lord. All praise and glory to the One we love for than life.

Phl 3:3 — For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Rom 8:31 — What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Angela may this bless your heart and know that when you are weak, He is the STRONGEST. Thank-you all for the prayers and I promise to take pic’s.

One more little blessing fer ya !

Less than two weeks ago the Lord confirmed a fleece as we met eight complete strangers on a trip. One of the gals is from Australia (she is also in the ministry ) asked the Lord if what I wanted to share with them was from Him ( the five stones ) then He would confirm that.

Well as we all sat down for lunch that day I shared how on another trip I asked (like a kid) that the Lord bless us with dolphins ( I love the ocean ) and how the Lord did that the very same day. I said ( to the group) that was my prayer this morning as I opened the curtains and said, “Daddy please can we see some dolphins today 🙂

We ended off lunch and moved to a upper level of the ship that is quiet and peaceful. After opening up in prayer we hear this ” screech” coming from the left side of the lounge , of course we are all ticked off seeing we were on a trip to Alaska and had not yet seen wales.

Playing in the waves were quite a few dolphins. We all jumped up and down like kids as the Australian gal turned to the group and said” that was my fleece”!!

It’s time to get out of the boat guys, time to walk in faith, childlike faith, God has promised to reveal these things unto babes.

1Cr 1:19 — For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

All praise and honour and glory to Him that sits on the throne!

  62. Hi guys,

Haha thank-you Tony , He sure does bless me beyond my wildest dreams.

Just yesterday He blessed my beloved and I with two dolphins that swam just meters away from us, I screeched like a little girl 🙂 but the greatest blessing yesterday was that we had joined in an agreement prayer with Pastor and his wife asking the Lord to confirm a verse that we all came into agreement on- Isaiah – Chapter 41 : 10-13.

As Christ is my witness , a intercessory prayer partner ( who had no idea of what we had asked the Lord to confirm in His word ) sent a txt to my beloved’s cell last night…yup you guessed it…it was the SAME VERSE! 🙂

Don’t you just love how God shows His love to His own !! Whooho if God be for us who can be against us!!

10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. 11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive [4] with thee shall perish. 12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. 13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Don’t have much time to post but wanted to post this powerful post. I pray that many will see the danger of trying to keep the Mosaic law and the pride that drives it .
