‘Moment of truth is near:’ Israeli Air Force set to attack Iran

Israel has once again demonstrated its readiness to launch a massive assault on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The Israeli Air Force is geared up and ready to strike as soon as the order is given, a major Israeli TV station reported.

A reporter from Israel’s Channel 10 TV station has spent several weeks interviewing pilots and other military personnel at an Israeli air base. Dozens of pilots are inspired with the prospect of Israel’s first full-scale air campaign in 30 years. Most of the interviewees spoke openly about the “year’s preparations” that are now almost over, as the country heads towards a hot and tense summer.

“Dozens if not more planes” are being prepared to carry out an attack on Iran’s nuclear sites, the reporter Alon Ben-David said. This includes F-15 fighter jets, escort planes and air tankers to refuel the squadron en route to its target. Unmanned drones are also expected to play a role in the operation. The all-weather fully-automatic UAV was designed for strategic reconnaissance but reportedly has assault capabilities as well. “This plane can do all that is required of it when the order is given,” one of the pilots said as cited in the report.

It is sad that one have to find your news at a Russian news agency but I do find them more informative than the normal Western sources.

I am not sure if Israel will attack Iran. It is not necessary for it to happen for prophetic events to march forward. But if this happens, and it looks more likely every day, Israel will be alone in the world and she will be blamed for all the bad things happening in the world.

  1. This story was also confirmed by an Israeli News site that came recommended to me by a man I went to grade school with that now lives in Tel Aviv.

    They are suggesting that it’s likely that no order will be given until after the next round of talks begins, but really who knows. I think if the IAF has credible intelligence that Iran is making a move to protect more assets, they will probably strike then.

Yes I cannot imagine living on that little strip of land they have there surrounded by people who hate you, country leaders I mean, and being bombed on all the time. What a time am praying for true justice to come, which means our Jesus will arrive on the scene to set that all up.

The region is grappling with the fallout of the economic crisis, and Russia and Turkey, in particular, are threatened by the turmoil in the Arab world.

    On April 13, the Center on the United States and Europe at Brookings (CUSE) hosted former European Union High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana for a discussion on how the European Union (EU) and NATO should engage with Europe’s strategic partners in the East and Southeast. As a former secretary general of NATO and secretary-general of the Council of the European Union, Solana offered insight into the prospects for future EU and NATO enlargement, the potential impact of the eurozone crisis on the region and how Europeans should attempt to cooperate with their neighbors in tackling global challenges.

    Brookings President Strobe Talbott provided introductory remarks and moderated the discussion.
