Prayer needed

Friends,

May I ask you to pray for me and my family. This year has taken its toll on our finances and we are currently with our backs to the wall. Now don’t get me wrong, we have food to eat, clothes to wear and a roof over our heads. But the income that I currently get from my job has shrunk to the minimum wages level and with that it puts a huge strain on me. I am also not asking for donations and will never do. The Lord is my provider.

Please just stand with us in prayer that the Lord may provide a better source of income/job for me while He we wait for His return.

Soon most of us will have to choose between money/the mark and Christ. When that happens we will loose everything. We must be prepared for that day.

  4. I will pray for you as you wait on the Lord. We too lost everything, and at times I even went without food, but God gave us good health through all of this. After 8 years of prayer, and waiting for God’s answer, my husband has a job that pays more than minimum wage. I would never trade what we learned through these trials. I no longer long for what I want, but I am thankful I have what I need, food, shelter, etc. If only all people of the world could learn this. Read Philippians 4:12 and 1Peter 4:12,13. I keep these on my fridge. Praying for you and your family. Susan

  5. Prayers for you and for any here that are struggling to provide for themselves or their families. In our family, we’ve seen the Lord come through for us time and time again with just what we needed at the last moment. He’s taught us so much through the times we’ve struggled, my wife and I look back at those days as some of the times that he had grown us the most. I see it as a training for the hard work of sowing and watering to those last souls in the days leading up to His Day.

  8. amen! have been as the widow-for whom the oil did not run-myself. many many times and ways He has come through for us. He is Jehovah-Jireh…the Lord our Provider! praying to our Great Father Who is able to supply all your need….

  11. I, too, have been through…am going through these things. He has taken everything from me, but only to teach me gratitude…TRUE gratitude, and humility. I have very little, but now truly appreciate the things I DO have…a roof over my head, heat to keep me warm, food for my belly. He has even provided a couple of ‘luxuries’…a computer, internet access, etc. Oh, and a library card. One other VERY important thing…a doctor to help me with my physical problems, and, at least so far, insurance to help pay for my appointments and medicine. (We also need to pray that our government doesn’t take EVERYTHING away from us, as they seem to be threatening. I will never understand why they are so against the richest paying their fair share! I guess that, too, is part of the prophecies. ) Still, you will be in my prayers, and I hope we will be in yours as well.

  13. Wickus. I know you are not asking for donations. But know this. We NEED this blog. You and Mathieu must understand, you are a great encouragement and help to us. We would rather help you, than lose the blog. As long as we can hold together, we must. Someday it will undoubtedly not be possible, but as long as it is…we must stay together. Nkosazana

  15. Yes Wickus, praying for you brother and your family especially for this need. As I shared we are taking care of a 92 year old gentleman now, this is my husband’s only income now as well. And we are very appreciative that God gave us this opportunity to help this poor soul out, as his family is well, money hungry evil, is the only word for them. We are moving soon, because we lost the house that had been my husband’s family home for years, but God is good. We have a beautiful little forested town to move to, where my sister Ruth passed in 2004. My brother in law still owns their home there, a smaller place but we can for sure get by. And I am looking forward to moving away from the more populated area here for sure.

    But like everyone says, and let me tell you I have been in worse financial condition, and like you say Vic it will get worse for us when antichrist is revealed that is for sure. The whole world economy is in real trouble that is for sure, which means the ones of us who live by our paychecks, and have not a lot of extra, will be struggling.

    My brother, who is an electrician down south of us here in Washington state, has had no work for a long time now. No new homes being built, no one remodeling etc.

    Praying without ceasing for you and all the saints in this world who are for sure being refined each day by our Lord Jesus.

  17. Can it be true, that G_d is providing for us because He needs us? Not in the way He always has before, but now, in these last days, in some special way? Have we been ‘spared’ from what could easily have been ‘a fate worse than death’ because we are to be his soldiers in the final days? He has annealed us, and so we are strong. One reason I am questioning is because I am old now. I’m not sure what use He can make of me. I simply feel very strongly that He does have plans for us. How many of us read the Book of Revelations as children, and rather than being frightened away from our faith, instead INCREASED in our faith? I think I felt, even then, that I would have a part to play in these days. However, I STILL have no idea WHAT that part is to be. Is there a discussion board addressing those of us who feel this way? I would really love to speak with others who feel they have been called to take part in whatever is coming. To speak with people who might KNOW exactly what we are meant to do when that day comes. Is there such a place, where we may speak openly to each other, and possibly increase in our wisdom? If anyone knows of such a place, please let me know. If there is NOT such a place, possibly it’s time to start one?

    I hope and pray everything works out for the best for you. I know how you feel I have been in that boat quite a few times in my life and something always seems to pop up and things sort themselves out (thanks to the lord of course).

  20. Thanks Peter. The Lord does and will provide. Luckily the site costs nothing. And as long as the Lord wants, we will look for the signs fulfilling prophecy over here.
