“If the Arabs put down their weapons today there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.” ~ Benjamin Netanyahu

I am (maybe was) involved with an email conversation for the past few days with someone calling himself a Jew, but who is trying to convince me that Israel is a wicked nation who must be destroyed. It got heated at stages and kept me very busy at times. All I can say is that it is so sad to see someone so deceived. Giving him clear Scripture got me accused of how blind I am and how much I am following man’s teachings. Here is just one small piece of the latest mail. The part that we agree on is that Israel is not a Christian nation, but he does not see Israel as God’s covenant nation.

See, you agree with everything I wrote to you previously however you cannot help yourself in supporting that wicked harlot nation Israel and those who hate our LORD!!  You think if you abandon your support of Israel and the wicked ones who claim themselves to be CHOSEN BY GOD that GOD will punish you and curse you.  Not true!! They are the ones who curse your LORD and hate you.  You know this yet you support these wicked ones.  You cannot have it two ways.  They are not your brethren.  You are killing me.  You act like GOD does not call out to the JEWS right now.  I am such an example as well as others like me.  The nation of Israel did not have to be in order for GOD to save some JEWS.  The formation of Israel is the timetable for GOD’s return.  What you should have on the top of your webpage is that you will not support that wicked nation ISRAEL and that it is a STENCH unto the LORD.

Please lets all pray for him. I do sense that his heart is sincere towards the Lord, but on Israel he is sincerely wrong.

  2. I love and support right wing Jews who reject the evil teachings of the Talmud and follow the Torah. Every Christian needs to understand the difference between the two. I don’t think Christians should UNCONDITIONALLY support the nation state of Israel because many religious Jews have embraced these teachings. After the Israelites returned from Babylon they brought with them a satanic and perverted form of Judaism, these teachings are found in the Talmud.

The Pharisees and Sadducees followed these
teachings and we all know that our Lord Jesus had nothing good to say about them…

I think Christians today have over-simplified this issue. It seems like many ministers on TV idolize Israel or take their support too far. Remember, we are supposed to be as “wise as serpents.”

  3. Hi Brandon

There is a difference in supporting the nation Israel as God’s covenant people prophesied to return to the land in the last days and the spiritual teachings of the Jews. Israel as a nation is still rejecting Jesus and that is not something to support. But the fact is still that God is dealing with them according to His promises and God has never rejected them as the antisemitism teaching goes.

We know the time of Jacob’s trouble is upon us were Israel will go through the greatest tribulation that they have ever been through, but the land of Israel will remain their property as promised to them by God. I will stand with Israel as a nation awaiting their spiritual awakening, but their spiritual teachings I reject.

  4. Luk 11:45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.
Luk 11:46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
Luk 11:47 Woe unto you! for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
Luk 11:48 Truly ye bear witness that ye allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and ye build their sepulchres.
Luk 11:49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
    Luk 11:50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
Luk 11:51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.
Luk 11:52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
Luk 11:53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:
Luk 11:54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.

I thoroughly believe that God is gathering Israel back into that land. Israel was only in Babylon for 70 years as Daniel tells us from the prophecy of Jeremiah.
But Israel has been scattered for far more years than that after Jesus, and then the destruction of Jerusalem at the hands of Rome. I see the prophecies saying that this would happen all throughout the prophets, that they would return, and that a nation would be born in a day.

Zec 12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him.
Zec 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Zec 12:4 In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
Zec 12:5 And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.
Zec 12:6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
Zec 12:7 The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
Zec 12:8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.
Zec 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Zec 12:11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
    Zec 12:12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
    Zec 12:13 The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
Zec 12:14 All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

    This day is coming.
Zec 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

  5. Vic that’s pretty ironic. Yesterday I met a sister in Christ ( Ex -JW ) whom I have not seen for over a year and she pulled out this glossy pamphlet. The second she did this the Holy Spirit red flagged me and reminded me of only one verse- you may want to send this to your wanna be Jew friend . ( sorry but many thought it, I just said it ) LOL

Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but [are] the synagogue of Satan.

The replacement theology deception was covered up by pretty pictures and smiling faces mmmmm now where did we see that again Vic? oh yeah the paradise books right!!!

The only problem is my friend will turn this verse against Israel showing them to be the guilty ones posing as Jews.

  7. Zionist here too. The quote from Bibi is from his speech to the UN right? I listened to that whole speech, and I must say it was quite moving to hear a man with such love for Israel and for his people (even if he doesn’t know yet Christ).

I find some other interesting things going on in Israel today as well. I’ve wondered for a while if some of those that proposed that the current traditionally held site for the Temple Mount was somehow not historically accurate as stated here: http://www.biblediscoveries.com/content/view/22/38/
I don’t endorse this site – I haven’t read anything other than their analysis of the site of temple mount, but I do agree that they may have some interesting evidence that the temple may have actually been 1000ft directly south of where jews believe it is today (and the the Western wall is part of the western edge of the Antonia Fortress and not the platform upon which the temple was built.

Why do I mention this? Today I see in the news word of “strange” “unexplainable” discoveries in the City of David archaelogical dig near the Gihon Spring (the site where the above site argues the Temple truly resided. I don’t see any reason to believe the archaelogical finds are from the first or second Temple – but I do find it interesting that there is an ongoing archeological dig going on there. I wonder what other interesting things they might find as that progresses. News story about today’s find here: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/150492

  8. One thing to me about the Wailing Wail, western wall on the temple mount that always bothered me is that in the words of Jesus this should not be

Luk 21:5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
Luk 21:6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Luk 21:7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

Luk 19:39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
Luk 19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
Luk 19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
Luk 19:42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
Luk 19:43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
Luk 19:44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
    Luk 19:45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
Luk 19:46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.

Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Mat 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

  9. Yes the Romans put their own temples on the top of any others from what I read about the Roman empire. But God will show truth in this area I do think, if indeed it is in the prophecy plan for a temple for Israel be built again for antichrist to sit in. Now some believe that the church is the temple, but I still cannot see this view as yet myself, because if antichrist sits in the temple, meaning us the believers, then we are doomed for sure. We cannot be the church and have antichrist sitting in us. At least this is the way I see it right now. I do understand what Paul was teaching about the believers being placed as lively stones, etc into being the spiritual temple of God and eventually when everything is all done, that makes sense.

  10. I was reminded of a discussion Vic, myself and brother Scott had a few months ago on ( my ) the conviction of us being the ” NAOS”.( see here*)
We are already seeing the consequences of the great “falling away” , but we are still not yet at the ” strong delusion” point ..God calling His own out of the apostate wh*re church is a indisputable fact. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. Hbr 13:13

Please know that this is only meant to prompt deeper study of the Word and to seek the Lord in prayer. He alone is our truth amen 🙂

Also noted again this morning that the Geneva Bible, also known as the “Pilgrim’s” Bible, has footnotes that hold that Christ fulfilled the 1st half of Daniel’s 70th week, with His 3 1/2 year ministry (which had little reason to why my whole eschatology timing changed back in 2007 anyways ) I believe it was Nony that brought that up to Holly on FP.

*Christ Jesus is the mediator of the new covenant.

And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel. Heb 12 :24

For this [is] my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. -Rom 11:27

This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; Heb 10:16

    Temple – Naos- 1 Peter 2 : 5 –

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are 1 Cor 3 : 17

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 1 Cor 6: 19

In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: Eph 2 : 21

Satan inhabits the man of sin- ( after he is cast out – once and for all – ) ( he still has access to the throne- accusing us daily )

And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. -Job 1

Till no more place found for him in heaven – see his arrogance in Isaiah 14 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:

I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: ( he is sitting on the throne in the apostate church already and has deceived them as he did when he caused the sons of God to rebel against the Lord.)

Those of us that are born from above, whom have been sealed by the blood- fear not because we overcome by the word of our testimony and loved not our lives until death.

Guys the most fascinating thing for me lately is to witness the POWER of prayer…and to experience the reality of Christ’s word’s – 1Jo 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Love you all dearly in Him 🙂

  11. compelling points all but still left hanging somewhat….suspended in this—we know that much is to be literally manifested and much yet to be spiritually manifested in our day and the Lord Himself is revealing all in proper order and time just what we can go on from day to day to day. job 1 is making our hearts understand that we indeed be those lively stones that stand against the lies from the pit as manifold witness that there is a Savior-Only One-and He is causing us to thrive-not merely survive-on His Manna the Word of God under more and more pressure as the strong delusion is mounting-making more and more sense to us as time unfolds. i believe there are many parallels out of the revelation books’ chapters happening all at the same time in the unfolding at present. something about these different scenarios we discuss here have credence yet God has reserved for Himself all those details leaving us to trust-left with only simple faith. Hisown brings up a remaining 3 1/2 years because of fulfillment already in Christ and this is highly probable as He is the Ultimate Model of all things God in Word and Example. His generation-like a 70 year lifespan was cutoff midway if you will-at His Death. God through Him has resurrected us as a spiritual temple and the religious jews long to “resurrect” a physical one. somehow this will play out-come to fruition literally and soon? for them-but we as believers in the Gospel are the model that God intends in this world-a “house” for Himself in the throneroom of hearts of repentant believing people and such a contrast. the wailing wall around temple mount is a wall-not the temple proper-and there is not one stone left standing of the actual temple. that wall right there is like a picture of the jews standing at a wall of unbelief-so close yet so far away! (the word is near-even in our mouths as Jesus said) a picture that says the Lord stands just on the other side of their unbelief as they stood before Him when in their presence long ago and did not see Him then either. i think it no accident that they are standing there in their wailing-still stuck where they left off. (Lord we love these Your chosen-open the eyes of the hearts of Your people the jews Father we pray) are not most things we long for already right in the palm of our hands and we miss the obvious!?! (sure is how i tend to be-not very different than any other human in that sense)….but wonderfully…..believers in Christ Jesus have the Spirit of God in the inner man with “inside information” and will it strike the right chord at the right time! we are going to see many things before our exit! God did not give away info when burying moses and i think the temple and the ark classify the same that they not be unduly worshiped instead of Him by jews or christians. yes the world has trampled every “sacred thing and place” but the last Word is God’s about the Title Deed to it all and does that not make our hearts thrill with joy!!!???!!! i am believing that as things heat up-so will the fervency of our witness that many of us are already giving but will have much more opportunity in doors thrown open wide by the Spirit in a final call that His True Church may give Him Glory as His last days Testimony. what a time to be alive! (thanks for abiding my ramble as that may be pretty much all it is!) love to you all as we travel on the King’s Highway together.
