Are we seeing the 2 of the 3 horns uprooted by the rise of the antichrist? I am not sure, but in these times that we are living in it is good to stay awake and speculate.
Bro Brian has pointed out on his site that we may see the subduing of Egypt, Libya and Sudan/Southern Sudan as the antichrist starts to make his approach into the world seen. It seems plausible for now.
Daniel talks of three of the ten horns being uprooted by a little horn. I believe that the little horn will not be noticed on his way up. He will be hidden by the events that caused the uprooting. As I believe the old WEU or now known as The Ten is the 10 horns, the current events in Europe needs our attention.
The antichrist beast system will take control of the world and it’s economics, not by military might, but by financial policy. The Eurozone is critically wounded and stares death in the face. Only a miracle formulated in the pits of hell will heal this wound. That will cause the world to wonder after this beast that was suppose to be dead, but got healed and got stronger after the healing process.
But before the antichrist can do his thing, three horns or kingdoms has to be uprooted from the ten. Currently we have the Greece prime minister who said he will stand down and the next is the Italian prime minister who also agreed to stand down. This happened in a weeks time. Both countries is part of the original WEU of ten nations. We only need one more prime minister to stand down from the WEU.

I am just analyzing what may be unfolding in the news related to prophecy. If there is no 3rd country going bankrupt and its leader stepping down, my thoughts are wrong. We must just keep watch and wait to see if this is correct.

Same here- I’d be cautious to assume connections in the prophetic text that aren’t explicit to the text. If a 3rd doesn’t emerge to be plucked out we are incorrect. I have a few guesses as to the possible third though my opinion has been evolving in the last few days. All we know for sure at this point is that the three is of the 10, the 10 many of us still think could be the full weu members.
“After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, terrifying and dreadful and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces and stamped what was left with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. seems to me- the little horn is present, the three horns are plucked out – I don’t know if we can assume that the activity of the second half of verse 8 is concurrent with the above or after.

Agreed. Also interesting that the 2 countries involved were empire rulers of old. Who may the third be? I also have my suspicions, but let’s see how this play out.
A possible head wound, a possible 2 of 3 uprooted, I am bound to my seat to watch this act play out! And it seems so unreal…

I am so frustrated about the church of today not seeing anything about this! They are so bussey with…(what?) and nobody see this good old “retired” gentleman, because everybody still expects to see a rapture before a 7 year covenant, a 7 year tribulation, and whatever I say or show them, from the churches 0,0 reaction. It seems I am the only one in the Netherlands who’s not a sleep.

Europe? where does the bible say anything about europe? The beast empire is islam and it’s being formed right now all across the middle east. The beast empire islam was the seventh empire and will be the eigth… not Rome.

Sorry for the bit of sarcasm Futurekoder, but I just wanted to show that without Biblical proof I can turn your argument against you. I am aware of the Islam antichrist theory made popular by Joel Richardson, Walid Shoebat and Ray Gano. The main problem I have with this theory is that it is based on the Quran and needs the study of Islam. Look at Joel Richardson’s site for example. There are more links to Muslim eschatology and theology studies than to Christian sites. Do you think we need to study teachings of demons to proof a Christian point?

My laptop crashed over two weeks ago and am so blessed to be be able to post again.I praise God for the beauty of our fellowship here and needed you all to know that you’re daily in my heart and prayers.
