2012: Why the year could be one of the worst in the planet’s history

I stumbled upon the following blog by accident. I do no know if the writer is a Christian watching for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled or just reporting on possible extinction events, but I found this post by him very sobering indeed.

Here is Alvin of The Extinction Protocol:

November 7, 2011 – LONDON –The world will not end in 2012 though before it’s over, for many, it may well feel like it. Nearly every dramatic event from social unrest to the crisis in the Middle East appears to be converging in the coming year. Solar activity, though low by previous solar cycles, is starting to increase. NASA said the solar maximum in 2012-2013, when the Sun is expected to reach peak activity, may be the strongest since 1958. 2012 is also expected to be the year of the return of the Mesoamerican pagan deity Quetzalcoatl –setting the stage for the potential appearance of many other entities, and beings also claiming divinity and that they are here to guide humanity through the corridors of this planetary crisis. Geopolitics: According to senior intelligence officials in the U.S. and Israel, 2012 is the year Iran is supposed to be near nuclear weapons capability. Will this be the year of a military action in Iran? Israel is already comtemplating a potential military strike to halt Iran’s nuclear program. 2012 is the year President Putin returns to power just as Russia is undergoing a strong surge in nationalism, is modernizing its nuclear arsenal, seeking closer ties with China, and beefing up its military presence across the globe. Russia has warned the West and Israel that a military strike on Iran would have grave consequences.

The rise of the Dragon- 2012 is the year of the Dragon according to the Chinese calendar. The dragon has long been considered a symbol for China as well as for Satan in the Bible according to the 12thand 13thchapter of Revelation. Will China’s rising economic and military clout collide with western nation’s military intervention in Iran or SE Asia in 2012? A decisive election in Taiwan is also occurring in 2012 that will determine the country’s future relationship with the Chinese mainland. Will Taiwan’s destiny be decided by this election? Many U.S. government observers think so.Disasters: Earthquakes and natural disasters are increasing. There is also growing unrest at some of the planet’s largest volcanic systems. Will 2012 bring even more ominous threats from mother nature? 2011 is already one of thecostliest years for natural disasters on record. Food production and distribution is also under growing threat from natural disasters and extreme weather events, just as the planet’s population exceeds 7 billion people. Economic crisis: The Eurozone and U.S. sovereign debt crisis is expected to grow dramatically worse in 2012 as debt levels among Western nations continue to soar. As bad as 2011 was, 2012 may push the world into even more adverse uncharted economic territory. Japan, the Eurozone, and even the U.S. is struggling with massive deficits as the economy deteriorates, unemployment rises, and natural disasters increase. The U.S. federal debt could exceed $17 trillion dollars by the end of 2012Anarchy: Social unrest is unraveling absolutism in the Middle East and installing theocracies in its place just as the Eurozone debt crisis is deposing prime ministers in Europe. Sectarian violence and civil war is also likely to increase in Muslim countries where the the power structure is under threat from fundamentalist insurgency. Also expect even more civil unrest around the world in 2012 as governments crumble, scandals increase, and austerity measures begin to take bite to save countries from economic ruin. –The Extinction Protocol

My Comments:

The only thing that I really don’t know what he is talking about is the Mesoamerican pagan deity Quetzalcoatl. Never heard of it, but I am also not into any pagan deities. But the rest is possible events that we as Bible believing watchmen can see happening soon. Very sobering indeed…

  1. hi Wickis and all, this is incredible to say the least. Staying in prayer,.. praying a prayer of gratitude for being called aside by our Father,…as well as praying for others from a place of trustful assurance that all is being heard by the Father, w/ full awareness of the sureity that He is in FULL CONTROL is the ticket and the key. it brings perfect peace, in the midst of it all, as things tend towards disorder.,…because out upon the horizon, a new dawn seems to be rising,…and all night-time fears…disappear. The Conqueror is on His way! JESUS! This, is the GOOD NEWS, and all else pales in comparison., Blessings

  4. Here in Oklahoma USA, we’ve been shaken up quite a bit the last few days with several earthquakes… One of them record breaking. And yesterday there was even an earthquake and tornados (tornados aren’t as common in November)… And flash flooding.

And as I’m writing this, I just felt another small jolt that rattled the house. I think that’s the first one since yesterday…

  5. “Mesoamerican pagan deity Quetzalcoatl.”

He or It’s the “Ancient Alien” being made mention of lately in the “Ancient Aliens” films the History Channel has been “prepping” the public with lately.

Nephilim thing again….I won’t comment any further on it since we all stand firm in how we feel about it anyway and it’s just another wait and see thing.

  7. To SunObjectCommenter, I pray that everyone is okay after that horrific chain of events down south. Residing in Maryland, I experienced the rumbles of an earthquake this past summer and it was something I had never felt before. It brings me to realize how the Bible’s prophecies are unfolding right before our eyes and we must be on constant watch as the ‘beginning of sorrows’ draws so near.

“And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when are these things to happen, and what will be the sign of thy coming and the end of the world?”
And in answer Jesus said to them, “Take care that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ’, and they will lead many astray. For you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. Take care that you do not be alarmed, for these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be pestilences and famine and earthquakes in various places. But all of these things are the beginning of sorrows.”
The Gospel of St. Matthew, chapter 24, verses 3-8
