  1. Mar 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mar 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Mar 12:32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:
Mar 12:33 And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
Mar 12:34 And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

Joh 4:20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
Joh 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
Joh 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Joh 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
Joh 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.

If we truly believe that the bible, scriptures, are the word of God, then we will spend time, much time reading and praying, and studying them.

I could only get a bit of one of these interviews to play, as for some reason, think it is my router not working correctly, having troubles with youtube, but I think he did say something like that.

  2. It’s very clear if we’re to read and study Romans….. When we believe by faith and are saved by grace that we become justified by Christ’s sacrifice before a Holy God. Then and now I am being sanctified continually in my spiritual walk with Christ…. It may be slow but it continues….. And then one day I will be glorified to the honor of my Savior… When I am with him.
There is no way sinful man (me) can live a perfect life no matter how long i’ve been saved…. It is only by Christ’s righteousness that I can stand before a Holy God.

  3. amen! still discovering-after 35 years as a born-again believer-the need to repent as the Spirit brings up some things of the past that i can actually see now as a sinful attitude from back then and it’s corresponding words and actions in the present that must be reckoned dead and gone-under the Blood of Jesus-to continue the healing of my life and soul. (we are quite obtuse aren’t we?) but life keeps revealing us to ourselves as we shine the Light of Scripture upon it and allow the Spirit to plumb those depths to search us out. our perfection is coming-that will be heaven alright! until then the “old man” is still with me but i am learning to let the Spirit do the overcoming-my inner man growing day by day and trial by trial. oh for the day when i will no longer sin-ever again-for i will be perfected wearing white-where i know by faith i am already found to be. oh that will be Glory!
