US Moves to Avert Showdown

September 13, 2011

Clinton told reporters at a news conference in Washington the U.S. wants Israel and Palestinians to resume direct negotiations. She said she is sending Special Envoy for Middle East Peace David Hale and Mideast Adviser Dennis Ross back to the region for meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Palestinian leaders appear ready to pursue full recognition from the United Nations despite American warnings that such a move would be counterproductive to Mideast peace efforts.

Comment by Adamantine:

My opinion. I am glad I am not negotiating with either. Neither seems really honest.

Given that neither is negotiating with God in mind it is obvious they should divide the Temple Mount and  Jerusalem.

Israel needs to get out of the West bank entirely.

The Palestinians need to forget about right of return.

Problem is that Palestine is a failed state before it is launched and Israel is going to succeed to such a degree that the comparison will always lead to envy and hatred.

God knows they will not solve this and so he speaks of it as a cup of trembling.

I do not under stand just why the AC must get his shortened 4 2 months or so.

Is it something legal that we do not understand about ownership of this earth and its title?

I would prefer Jesus show up today and take over. Why all the fuss needed about the tribulation?

Judgment must be required and that speaks poorly about this world.

As some have said God has no need or plans to apologize to Sodom.

The world is in for a time of trouble?

What is going to happen at the UN seems like it will be a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing.

  1. Jesus’ Bride, the Body of true believers, needs to be thoroughly refined before He returns. How has that best occurred in the past? … Through persecution and various other faith building trials.

    Ephesians 5:27 (KJV)
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

    1Peter 4:17 (KJV)
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

    Dearest brother Wickus,

Is there any way that we can choose an avatar for a posting. I see I have a grimace face getting ready to come up!

  2. Okay, I had some good laughs about the the comments made with the new avatars, but lets get back to normal. Brother Scott, it looked like you came out of the tribulation. 🙂

  3. Hey Wickus, how did that happen? Yes the church will be refined just as it has always been, through triulation and fire. Jesus told us that for sure. So we watch, pray and allow God to refine us.

Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
Rom 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Rom 8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Rom 8:25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

  4. Not everyone who claims to be a follower of Christ truly is. This will be a test of our true love and devotion to Almighty God. We, living in America, are a spoiled people who know nothing of the test that is about to come upon the earth. Hold on to Christ and his strength.

  5. Marie-

The whole world will – experience, or is experiencing in vague outlines – the test/judgement you speak of. America is scrutinized for a lot of things, but really, the entire globe is drowning under the weight of sin and no one will escape the divine hardships that are coming.

    Yeshua, Come Quickly
