Beginning of Sorrows?

“If You Are Not Ready – Get Ready” – Jerry Golden from Jerusalem

The next three weeks in the Middle East – namely Israel, Cyprus and Turkey, may well provide far more excitement than any of us want. With the High Holy Days beginning on the 29th this always seems to cause Security to go into high gear in Israel, but this year even more so than usual.

The so-called “Palestinians” asking the Arab controlled General Assembly of the United Nations to recognize them as a State is certain to cause riots, if not war, to break out here in Israel. And if Obama betrays Israel and does not veto this in the Security Council the bloodbath could begin right away. Hamas and Hezbollah will cut loose with all they have to back-up the PA in their determination to destroy the State of Israel.

It has also become obvious that Turkey is playing a very dangerous game to gain the upper hand in the Arab and Muslim World. Now that Egypt is not the top dog Turkey is forcing Israel into a confrontation at sea, with the real reason being to take control of the natural gas and possibly the oil which is presently controlled by Israel.

Cyprus is also in Turkish sights because they sold their rights in the Mediterranean Sea to Israel. This could be a motivation for Turkey to once again attack the Cypriots. They have practically no military to speak of, and could certainly not defend themselves against Turkish forces.  Turkey’s main enemy over the past decades has been the Greek Government, and the fact that Israel and Greece have been building a strong relationship, both militarily and economically, doesn’t sit well with Turkey.

But most likely the biggest motivator behind Turkey’s aggression towards Israel over the past year has been the Prime Minister who has made it clear that he wants to see Turkey become more Islamic. He has, time and time again, allow his mouth to drive him into a corner by making so many threats against Israel. It has now come to a point that he must either put up or shut up.

So when you think matters couldn’t look worse, they get worse and worse. The fact that Turkey and Iran have become very close over the past year or so only brings into view the prophecy of Ezekiel 38:5-6 – keeping in mind that Togarmah is today’s Turkey.

We have a good idea what this whole thing means to us here in Israel. However, those reading this in the US, Europe and elsewhere may be wondering about what is going to happen here? My guess, which is nothing more than that, is that all this will be a signal for the Islamic Jihadi’s to go into full operation. The world could very well go completely insane, just as the global economy collapses.

If half of what we read on the Internet is true about Obama,  and the truth concerning this impostor becomes an issue in the US, all hell will break loose because he will not go down without a final attempt to destroy the US.

I hope that all my warnings over the past two years have caused you to do your best to provide for the coming disasters. If there is any truth to what I have written above, and I believe there is or I wouldn’t be saying it, you have only a few weeks to prepare. This is not to say that the end will come in a few weeks, but it could certainly be the time for the Great Sorrows to begin.

Comment by Adamantine:

In the past I used to be a vocal advocate of preparing for a difficult time.

Prayerfully consider some preparation. Someday we may be horrified and shocked.

Preparing is difficult for a lot of reasons:

We want to be wise and not over or under prepare. Others do not see the need to prepare. We do not want to be too early or too late.

No wonder most prefer to cease watching. They are waiting for a notice in the Sunday church bulletin which will never come.

It is troubling that so few see both because in some manner it increases the chance we are wrong and it increases the distress of most if we are correct.

I might say I have little to no understanding how God thinks this strange arrangement of historical trends is adequate to warn the world.

I wonder if I would have understood the fulfillment’s of Jesus first coming if i had been living then.

Jesus seemed to down play His miracles and instead always play up His fulfillment of prophecy as if that were a better proof of who He was.

It seems to me that it was the miracles that should have caused the people to check out the details of His life. No one could prove anything about the virgin birth but they might have been able to know of the visit of the Magi if the Magi had arrived with 100 black S UV’s. Currently many on Fulfilled Prophecy are acting as if the current trends are no longer significant.

I am saddened to think that God might let it get as close as it has and then decelerate trends. I will be surprised to see the UN do anything important this Fall. Turkey must be foolish to be planning to fight Israel.

When Israel dislikes Palestinians and Palestinians dislike Israel and Jordan dislikes both there seems to be no way forward but to live one day at a time. I grow impatient.

Thanks Born to watch.

  1. While I share your anxiousness for events to play out, Adamantine, I struggle with the mental strain of ‘watching’. It is tiring. Preparedness is wearying. I feel as though we are moving in molasses. I wish God would take a page from nike’s add campaign and ‘Just do it!’. Then I am reminded of this: 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

  2. Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
    Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Rom 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Rom 5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Rom 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

I am just thankful that the gospel was shared with me when I was young, and finally as I got older I did understand the whole thing. Prophecy being fulfilled as we have been told to watch and pray. So we keep our own focus on Jesus and do what we can here on earth, while the time remains. No matter how long, seems like it has been forever for me too, but then we have examples from the scriptures, that many waited.
