The future of the discussion board

Wickus here:

I need your input. The discussion board is currently in the “free version” mode and I had complaints about offensive advertising banners that is part of the free version. To be honest, I have never seen it as my browser has got an ad-block plugin that filters out ads. I recommend it.

The board is also hardly used by anyone as most of you just put your thoughts on the comments section. The comment section will stay with us.

The question is, do you still see the use of the discussion board or can it be shut down?

  1. The discussion board is fine and saves having to click back through heaps of links to see a old article.
If people are offended by adds then in reality they shouldn’t be on the internet, Nor should they watch TV or may as well not even walk down the street and like in Sydney see adds on billboards saying Jesus is a prophet of Islam.
Point is adds are part of the net like it or not and if it means a couple of adds there so we can discuss important prophetic events that will affect everyone then i reckon keep the discussion boards up.
Seriously we should embrace the board before whole sites like this and others are eventually shut down.
Funny thing is we are about to possibly go through the worst time ever on this planet and a few people are worried about a couple of adds… Sad really.

  2. Instead of shutting the board down over a few people being “offended” and making it harder for the rest of us who don’t really care about the adds then maybe people need to be a bit more proactive from their end 🙂
Here is a add-on for Firefox that blocks adds on the internet.
It works well i have tried it and it is easy to install.
Then there will be no more adds.

  3. You should keep the board. Not every article that is posted in the comments get read.

That being said…this is an article that you all REALLY should read!!!
It has to do with putting an electronic mark on the forehead or forearm.

Also, the Bible says in Jeremiah 52:12-14, that the temple was destroyed on “Av” 10th not 9th like tradition dictates.

12 Now in the fifth month, on the TENTH day of the month (which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon), Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, who served the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem. 13 He burned the house of the Yahweh and the king’s house; all the houses of Jerusalem, that is, all the houses of the great, he burned with fire. 14 And all the army of the Chaldeans who were with the captain of the guard broke down all the walls of Jerusalem all around.

  4. Are you talking about the message board where you can chat and comment on different subjects? If you are there have been ads that had alot cleavage showing and asking if I was interested in meeting. I didn’t care for that but have ignored it so far. I have a good ad blocker. These ads do not show up on this page but on the message board. Also, I would like to use it more and have used it but very few others do. Most people only comment here.

  5. You know I used to go there more and have been lax in even checking it out lately. Sorry, just been busier it seems. If you have to pay for it, I say well then that is up to you wickus. Never noticed any ads that offended me, but then I usually try to just not notice, the dang things are over the internet for sure.
