Jack Van Impe Leaves TBN After Criticism Of Rick Warren, Robert Schuller

Jack Van Impe, a popular End Times broadcaster, has ended his decades-long run on Trinity Broadcasting Network after a dispute over naming ministers that he accuses of mixing Christian and Muslim beliefs.

Earlier this month, Van Impe named California megachurch founders Rick Warren and Robert H. Schuller as proponents of “Chrislam,” which he defined as “a uniting of Christianity with Islam.” TBN pulled the episode before a repeat broadcast could air.

Michigan-based Jack Van Impe Ministries said its board of directors decided unanimously Thursday (June 17) to no longer work with TBN.

“We would not be able to minister effectively if we had to look over our shoulder wondering if a program was going to be censored because of mentioning a name,” said Ken Vancil, executive director of the ministry, in a statement.

TBN president and founder Paul Crouch expressed disappointment with the ministry’s decision.

“Although I understand, and actually agree with, your position that you ‘will not allow anyone to tell me what I can and cannot preach,’ I trust you understand that TBN takes the same position with its broadcast air time as well,” Crouch wrote in a letter to Van Impe.

Comment by Wickus:

I don’t think any real Christian will ever want to be associated with TBN. There is nothing Christian in them.

  1. If it isn’t already plainly obvious to viewers that Warren and Schuller are anti-Christian in their ministries, then I have would have very serious questions and doubts regarding their faith, their beliefs, and their salvation.

  2. Is Matt Crouch of TBN the anti-Christ or, perhaps, the false prophet?

Have we been looking in the wrong direction for these Satanic personalities? Recently, largely as a result of Matt Crouch’s disapproval of his methodology of preaching, Jack Van Impe was cancelled from TBN programming. They refused to air one of his programs dealing with Chrislam and a number of false teachers who are promoting it, some on TBN itself, so he voluntarily backed out of any further telecasts involving that network. Also recently, TBN just opened a new broadcast studio right in the middle of Jerusalem to cover Israel. There is a prophetic passage in the Bible that speaks about the abomination of desolation, standing where it ought not, on a wing of the temple which puts a stop to some form of revived ancient Hebrew ritual of daily animal sacrifice. Could this be a reference to some type of Christian influence…pressure, if you will, along with the assistance from animal rights advocate groups to get animal slaughter banned from the prophesied future 3rd Jewish temple during the end times? After all, it is the Christian belief that animal sacrifice is no longer needed, or even accepted anymore, since they believe Jesus Christ was the lamb led to slaughter on the crucifix by the Romans. Is it possible the “wing of the temple”
from Daniel 9:27 might be referring to the Christian Quarter of Jerusalem or maybe a section of the temple complex itself, like the West Wing of the White House? There is a general consensus among contemporary theologians that the 3rd Jewish temple mount complex will share the massive foundation sitting above the western wall (wailing wall) with the Islamic controlled Dome of the Rock. Will Christianity demand a collective representation of their religion and set
up an image of their own atop this lofty place? Might this be the origin of the prophesied “one world religion” Revelations speaks of, perhaps with a three-tiered legislative constituency made up of Judaism, Christianity and Islam? Judischristlam, if you will? It might be relevent to mention that Matt Crouch is also a young man, which is one of the requirements of the end times false prophet. It yet remains to be seen whether he will assume operational control of that center but I have noticed in watching him that he likes to take the reigns of conversation when the camera is on him. Even his dad and founder of TBN, Paul Crouch, complained (in a submissive way) about his son’s arrogant, overbearing tendencies with guests and staff members on the air.

    Daniel 9:27 (HCSB)

27 He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.

    Daniel 12:11

11 And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.

    Mark 13:14

14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

Matthew 24 – (Christ speaking here even gives the first name of the false prophet)

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
