Seniors’ sex lives are up — and so are STD cases around the country
Across the nation, and especially in communities that attract a lot of older Americans, the free-love generation is continuing to enjoy an active — if not always healthy — sex life.
In the five years from 2005 to 2009, the number of reported cases of syphilis and chlamydia among those 55 and older increased 43 percent, according to an Orlando Sentinel analysis of data provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Comment by Adamantine:
It is necessary to fight against lust at all ages. God does not give out free sex passes to those who are older and were married and whose spouses have died or divorced. It remains sin at all ages.
I am not perfect and am not without sin. I am not casting stones to hurt anyone. I am casting words to convict myself and others.
I think this is another reason that God’s judgement is getting closer. The oldest generation is fading and a newer older sinner generation is taking the mantel of elder leadership and they are flaunting their sin.
