As a society, we’ve lost much needed sanity and decorum.
When the office of the President of the United States has lost so much regard from it’s citizens that the outcry of “prove it,” we’re all in trouble. We aren’t able to be grounded. We don’t feel we can rely on our own President to tell the truth.
I am sick about this.
I don’t disagree with those who absolutely distrust Mr. Obama. He was not forthright with us about the birth certificate for some many long months. He owed us the truth. Lets not, also, forget that he surrounds himself with some far left leaning individuals, whose ideals and philosophies are far leaning from where the majority of Americans are comfortable, but….we knew, or should have known, he was going to do this. He was, at the time he was running for president, the most liberal senator we had.
How did somebody who was not representative of mainstream America get elected to this office? Who was running against him? Someone most people saw as another Bush, and a majority of Americans couldn’t stomach another Bush, either.
Let’s be real.
How do we come back from this?
How do we come back from this? Could we ever come back from this?
If not, there is nothing and no one who is going to stop this crazy ride from just continuing to get crazier and crazier.
I think I am in a regular state of grieving. I don’t want to see a photograph of a man whose head is half blown off just so I can prove to myself that my president isn’t lying. Even so, who would know for sure when said photo was taken, they could be lying about that too. It could go on and on and on, but that it’s come to this is a tragedy that we are living through.
