Increase in eartquakes

I was fasinated when I went trough the following stats yesterday! According to the USGS records, there has been a phenominal rise in worldwide earthquakes. See the stats for yourrself:

  • 1940’s – 44 earthquakes
  • 1950’s – 46
  • 1960’s – 58
  • 1970’s – 44
  • 1980’s – 46
  • 1990’s – 55
  • 2000  -  7
  • 2001  -  7
  • 2002  -  45
  • 2003  -  69
  • 2004  -  48
  • 2005  -  50
  • 2006  -  34
  • 2007  -  55
  • 2008  -  28 and we are only halfway!

That means that from 1940 – 1999 (60 years) there has been 293 eartquakes recorded and from 2000 – June 2008 a phenominal 343!

If this is not labour pains increasing and the Lord warning is of what is about to happen, I will eat my old shoes. :-)

  • What is happening?

    This page is for anyone who is aware of the possible prophetic fulfillments within the last 15 years, particularly the possibility that DANIEL'S 70th WEEK (Dan. 9:27) may have started about a year ago. Details and explanations below: In the description below, the event that possibly fulfills or relates to a Bible prophecy is written first with the date in front of it. It is followed by a verse or an explanation of its possible prophetic significance. 1995 - Ten nation military alliance (Western European Union) formed under the modified Brussels Treaty. This is a distinct organization from the European Union, although the two are very closely connected. This treaty organization to this day still has only 10 member states with full voting rights. “The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast.” Revelation 17:12-13 1995 - In November 1995, Javier Solana successfully negotiated the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership for Peace (Euromed). The agreement was between the then 15 EU member states and 12 Mediterranean states — including Israel and the Palestinian Authority. In fact, some believe that it may have been Solana’s skill in negotiating this agreement that caused then Secretary of State Warren Christopher to recommend Solana as head of NATO to President Clinton. The goal of the Euromed project is to create a region of peace and stability across Europe and the Mediterranean. That being the case, it’s no wonder looking at Euromed maps is like looking at maps of the old Roman Empire. The Mediterranean was once considered a Roman lake. Soon, if the Euromed project works, it will become the EU’s lake. The Euromed, however, failed to deliver. So, Solana introduced his European Neighborhood Policy (ENP). The purpose of the ENP was to strengthen, or make strong, his faltering Euromed scheme. The ENP is a huge package of financial deals for each participating Euromed nation. These deals include Action Plans that are custom tailored for each participating nation. The idea is, by monitoring each nation’s progress to their Action Plan, the Euromed project can be strengthened and made to work. The ENP was implemented under existing funding instruments. However, the existing instruments were not sufficient to meet the ENP’s goals. So, Solana was tasked with creating a new funding instrument — the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). When the new funding instrument takes over, the ENP will become the “New” ENP. This happened on January 1, 2007. What’s prophetically significant is that the ENPI is a seven-year funding instrument. In other words, the New ENP is designed to strengthen, or make strong, the 1995 Euromed for a period of seven years. “He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” Daniel 9:27 1998 - Document 666 of the European Union summit creates position of High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Number of the beast (666) mentioned in Rev. 13:18 is associated with the appointment of the High Representative position. 1999 - Javier Solana appointed as High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) for the EU and becomes Secretary General of the 10-nation WEU. Solana does not represent any of the states in this 10-nation alliance, though he’s from Spain, which is a participant nation. "The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings." Daniel 7:24 Take note of the phrase "different from the earlier ones" 2000 - Recommendation 666 gives the High Representative and Secretary General of the WEU (Javier Solana) the authority to preside over the EU’s Political and Security Council in an emergency. According to author Herbert L. Peters 5, this means the High Representative has “the authority to step in and take control of the EU’s new military machinery” in an emergency. Daniel 11: 36-45 describes conquests of antichrist, implying his very powerful military influence. Number of the beast (666) mentioned in Rev. 13:18 is associated with military power of High Representative position. 2007 - The European Neighborhood Policy forms a partnership between the EU and many Mediterranean countries, including Israel. The ENP has had former funding instruments all of which are replaced by the ENPI. As of January 1, 2007, the ENPI is the source of funding for a seven-year period. “He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.” Daniel 9:27 2010 - European Union is implementing an Action Plan promoting the welfare of animals for the period of 2006-2018. The EU would also like to enhance international standards of animal welfare . Proper treatment of animals during slaughter is an area of interest for the EU. This may be the antichrist’s way to stop “sacrifice and offering” in the middle of the 70th week.
